@mac_heibu Cool. Only thing is - as I said above - the "updates" tab didn't show the updates. The "purchased" tab showed "open" and after 2 days it changed to "install". See the difference?

Finally: In the "Purchased" tab, the button for both apps showed now "install". Unsure if I would just install the original version of 1.0, I took the risk and - got the current version of 1.8.1. Man, ain't that a stupid store?

I tried that already. Maybe 72 hours isn't over yet.

I didn't know that. My 2 Affinity apps do show up there but the button says "open" although they are already open. If I click the button to open them the app comes to the foreground. But still no update prompt.

I don't have the entry "Check for Updates" in the application menu. I also always got updates thru the Mac App Store. All the other apps I have from there update well.

Hi, I have Affinity Designer 1.7.2 and Photo on a Mac running High Sierra. The Mac App Store doesn't show the update. Commad+R didn't work. Logging in/ out on the Mac App Store didn't. Is there another way to update without that stupid store?

I always make involuntary copies of my layers. I know why that happens, but it annoys me ultimately. Please - could you make that stop? Like with a preset to switch that awful click-and-drag-makes-a-copy-of-a-layer-feature off? Please…
