  1. If you are referring to applying correct white balance to a RAW image, well the Develop Persona has a White Balance slider. However, if you want precise white balance from a white balance card there is a tool on the left side of the Develop Persona to select a part of your image to get the white balance from. Works really well!
  2. Is there a way to print the shortcuts? Or perhaps export them to open elsewhere and print? Many thanks!
  3. In the current beta, under the preferences, in the tools section, there's a new option for enabling radial dial support. Does this experimental option allow use of the Microsoft Radial Dial? This GitHub page has me wondering!
  4. Thanks for that! Does look pretty amazing! I'm currently an Affinity devote though so we'll see.
  5. It'd be great to have plugin support for Tiffen Dfx, which is now called DFT. I ran the plugin after it detected it OK but it came up with an error message: "ChannelPorts not available"
  6. Luminar does look very nice. Too bad it's Mac only for us Windows users. I'd still prefer the GUI of Affinity though.
  7. I think your over complicating it. I just need to replicate what Adobe does - or similar. Monochromatic is a common used standard. Look at the Adobe website I linked. Colour variations are just mathematical equations. Some base colour theory must already exist in the software because of the existing colour variation options. So don't see the drama of another. It's the one I use most often for web design and it is a definitive need I personally would benefit from. I'm sure others would also.
  8. Because like analogous (which is in the software), monochromatic is a known standard variation of colour. Check out the following: https://color.adobe.com
  9. Get out! That's awesome! Really need monochromatic as an option though as that's the one I use most often. Unless it's under a different word?
  10. There's many ways you could create it. I'd just use a white fill layer and use Screen to blend it in. Mask it in appropriately. Also Pin Light would work well. In the end however, it's would look much better if you just used artificial light naturally.
  11. That's a good idea actually. Culling images and putting them on an external drive and only having those you will use on the SSD. I had a job recently with 50GB in total! The SSD was feeling the pain. Of that there was probably only around 5GB actually for the final images. But how do you pre-cull? In what software? I like to see the images next to each other to compare....
  12. I often choose a colour from a palette then go and find its monochromatic or analogous colour variant. It would be great to have a built in tool to generate these variants automatically. For reference check out: https://color.adobe.com
  13. I'd be great for Serif to bring out a DAM with complete metadata support and a good culling system. Built with the same gorgeous interface of Affinity. Please!
  14. Agree! This would be a great addition. Photoshop now has support for this as a Technical Preview. I'll note that Logitech has a new keyboard called Craft that also has a dial and works with Photoshop. There's a trend towards this kind of input device.
  15. Definitely need crop to marquee selection. It's the most effective way to crop quickly.
  16. +1 for progress bars when opening/importing/exporting.
  17. +1 for DWG import! Please! I bought Photo but would buy Designer just for this! Please support the current AutoCAD 2018 DWG file version. Or at least their 2013 version. Many thanks!
