  1. Still... Would love to see that! With the massive edit options, this would be insane and killer features!!
  2. Heyahey, I didn't found anything about this, but I got to post this and it would be a great feature for all Affinity Products and not just Designer on MacOS... Live-Preview and commenting on Affinity files. The problem now: I want to share what I've designed... this is how it goes... Usually sending a customer a preview ends up with something like this: Screenshots with v1, v2, v3.1.3.2.3.4 _finali0hf0shfpa It's a a mess, it's unorganized and even I don't get it after a while... How would Live-Preview look like: I'm making a Social Media Document for a customer with artboards, stuff outside artboards, ... , but since the normal customer is easily overwhelmed by the normal software UI and I don't want to send my whole master Document, I want so share what I designed with him easily. So I upload the Document, share a Link and the customer has a limited web-view of what I've designed. This means: Viewing Design Option to choose if stuff outside artboards will be shown or not Commenting and setting some hot-spots (Version history) Full-Screen Preview I want to set comment points on my design to describe something, without "direct embedding" them into the design And: If I could see the comments while editing in Affinity, Live and in real-time. Would. Be. Killer. I guess for this feature it would be nice to have two document "workspaces": - Approved document (the shared one) - In-Work document (What I'm actually working on, I don't want the customer to stalk me in my working 😐😀) For those who are wondering. Yeah, I more or less simply described how Figma does it... But I have to say: This is awesome. Time-saving and dumb easy for me and the person I share the design with. And: I would pay for this. Monthly. With pleasure more than 20 €. But it "just needs to work". Give a thumbs up if you would love to see this, because I would! 👍 BTW: We should have a category for feature requests and questions/topics here which are not dedicated to one of the programs. -Alex
  3. Tested it again. In Character Panel it actually works. But in the Font Manager it doesn't... So the issue is only with the font manager when replacing fonts for example. Sorry
  4. +1 from my site also to this thread here... Can we at least get some kind of tags like "feature request seen", "feature request accepted", "in development" and "included in version x" or any update?
  5. +1 to this from my site... We definitely need this feature! Please, please, please include an automated optical kerning algorithm to make text look good in less time. Manual kernig is great, but the time it takes will never be payed by a client. @Patrick Connor Thank you and keep up the great work! -Alex
  6. Hey, I found a bug that persists since many versions of Designer, Publisher and Photo regarding fonts and font replacements. I did a small research, but didn't found anything regarding this. It's not a big deal, but still annoying... When replacing/choosing fonts you're normally able to search for them (filter fonts by keywords). In my example in the attachments, it's Open Sans. So when typing in a font family in any dialog, it doesn't search for this font in my font library. Searching for fonts simply doesn't work. So I guess it should work like a search field like it does for example in InDesign (2. attachments) As I said, it's not a big deal, but annoying in daily workflow (especially because the font dialog is so small and if you have a big font collection you need to scroll all the way down to find the font family you need) So, please have a look at it. Thank you and keep up the great work! -Alex
  7. Hey, I've searched for this quite long now, but I didn't really know how to describe my problem/question. If I create a curve with the pen tool and want to cut out a bit with the help of the substract tool (split it) the beginning and the ending points are snapping togehter and my curve isn't split. So yeah, how to cut the curve? I didn't really know what to ask, so just have a look at my .afdesign attachment. Thank you. -Hiro Cutting curves.afdesign
