  1. Just passing by and bumping the message to ask, is there anyone from Affinity around to give an insight?
  2. @carl123 yeah I do that already... The way it defaults to Publisher annoys me, but I admit it's a bit of nit picking. Anyaway, I thought that feature could be interesting for some people, or even a StudioLink app that you plug Affinity apps as needed. Dunno.
  3. While I could see the use for such feature, the way it was asked here rubs me the wrong way. Nobody here (except from the staff, of course) knows jack sh!t about what it takes to develop, test and support such feature, specially without even seeing the code base. Also, @loukash, thanks for the laughs! 😂
  4. Affinity Publisher came with the greatest feature of all graphic editors I've ever seen: the ability to switch between Publisher, Designer and Photo inside the same app. This is delightful and came with a collateral effect: I tried to use Publisher for most of my work thanks to this. Now the issue here is that Publisher is very much focused on print. Of course, that's the whole point of it; so working with anything else, like single illustrations, gets kinda of janky. So, here's my request: please bring StudioLink to Designer, allowing me to replace the Pixel persona with Photo. I do most of my work as vector, but I still need to add photos and other kind of images to it, and I often go to Photo to do edits and adjustments. Being able to quickly switch between Designer and Photo inside the same window, on the same document, would be incredible.
  5. That's the one feature that makes working with Affinity Designer maddening to me. I have a Dell monitor and a XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro, a display tablet with shortcut keys, and two of those are set to throw windows around monitors. Also, a key on my pen allows me to change between monitors without the need to use a mouse. So I'm drawing on Designer using the Artist Pro, and then see that I need to tweak a texture to better fit my work. Since Photo is also opened on the Artist Pro, I throw Designer to my monitor. Now, here's the issue: I'm right handed, and the tools are docked all the way on the left. I want them on the right, closer to my hand, and to get that I have to undock the panel and keep it floating on the right. All fine and dandy until I throw the Designer windows to my Monitor. Guess what's left behind? That's right, the Tools panel. So i have now to grab the mouse and drag the tools back to its place. It a small thing to do until you do it everyday, multiple times a day... So, can you please please please let me dock the Tools panel on the right? Illustrator allows it, and I can't understand why Designer can't.
  6. Well, that sucks... I'll check that post for the alternatives. Thanks for the quick reply!
  7. Hi, I bought the Designer Workbook some time ago and it was shipped to Brazil without any issues. Today I tried to buy the Photo Workbook and see if the Publisher Workbook was available, but I see that the country is not an option anymore. Do you intend to ship again to Brazil on the foreseeable future? Is there any other way I could order the Photo Workbook?
