  1. Windows. Designer. Right, here it is (don't want to see the triangle-lines):
  2. Really don't know how to word this, but basically, I want to only see the content within the actual document. I think this is how it works by default but something happened and now it shows every layer everywhere, when I just want to see how the image actually looks like.
  3. Sorry for the double post but I had to say - I'm actually back to Affinity. Even accounting this terrible inconvenience, I'd forgotten just how awful Photoshop was UI-wise. That, and its terrible performance on my end, make it unusable for me. So back to Affinity - is there any way I can work around a pixelated image in a way that doesn't blur? The particular case I'm interested in is: say, from this image below, I'd like to 1. Crop out the background so that it's transparent 2. Pick one of the sprites and change the color of some of its pixels to grey. 3. Draw my edit of the sprite on top of it (for example, I'd like to add a hat). Any way to do this on Affinity?
  4. Just wanted to say that I really need this feature for the very same purpose too, and that sadly Affinity is currently a deal breaker for me too due to this.
  5. Chipping it to say I've been using Affinity for pixel work and it's been a rather unfortunate experience solely because of the lack of this one simple feature. Hope you can get around to it soon enough.
  6. I know for sure because it loaded up fine right before I imported my font collection into my computer. It is a lot of fonts, but if any type of person is gonna have a lot of fonts in his computer, it's gonna be the type of person who uses Affinity. So I believe they should do a better job at this. What would be the use of such a program? I'm not familiar with them. I take it I'd have to remove many fonts, therefore I wouldn't be able to test them from Affinity on my designs, right? I so profoundly agree with this. Fonts should be loaded when called for, or slowly in the background.
  7. Both Photo and Designer take at least 3 minutes to load up. The reason is that I have hundreds of fonts installed, and no SSD. Nevertheless, I believe it should do a better job, as a lot of other software like MS Paint don't collapse because I have so many fonts. It's really frustrating.
  8. Sorry for the double post, but just to be clear - the one constant remaining problem I have is that merging layers always anatialiases the layers involved.
  9. YES!!!! This is exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much!! edit: now that I've played with it for some hours, I gotta say, I still have problems when merging layers (they merge with antialiasing, except for sometimes in which they don't, and I really don't know what triggers it on/off), and sometimes just moving the object around will cause it get antialiased. Also it's rather tiring to have to set the blend option like that for all objects, instead of it being the default setting (I feel like there's an option for this though).
  10. Oh, that's too bad. I hope you can add it on the future. It's pretty essential if you do pixel art.
  11. Is it possible? I really need it. Same goes for fonts. Just disabling antialiasing in general.
  12. I'm looking to do pixel art on Affinity, and the Pixel Tool is great for drawing, but I can't seem to find a way to erase the pixels properly, as erasing with antialiasing leaves undesired marks on this type of work.
