  1. Now it gets interesting, is your screen dump from an iPad Pro? ’Cause here is how it looks on my iPad 6G:
  2. Yes! Dynamics setting did the trick, which is wonderful news. Didn't find any "controller" settings though, where would I found those? Certainly worth a try... Thanks!
  3. Hm still confused, but on a higher level... I will investigate this further, thank for the clarifying feedback!
  4. So, now I have bought Affinity for iPad only to discover exactly what was my initial concern, iPad 6th generation does not support pencil tilt or pencil pressure. :-(
  5. I didn't find this information, I found out by trying it out on my iPad (6th gen). As I mentioned "I have only tried those things with simpler pencil-enabled apps, and it does not work." No one would be happier than me if you say that tilt and pressure will work fine if I buy Affinity for iPad even if I don't have the fancy Pro hardware...
  6. Sure, but tilt and pressure does not seem to be implemented for iPad (6th generation). But that was my question, how and if this will work on such an iPad with Affinity for iPad. I have only tried those things with simpler pencil-enabled apps, and it does not work. But I am not skilled enough to figure out if this is on by app basis, or on the hardware basis...
  7. I have Affinity Photo on WIndows but recently bought a new iPad 2018 and an Apple Pencil. It seems not the full set of Apple Pencil features work on iPad, only if you have iPad pro. So, will that be the case if I buy Affinity for iPad (which I am very tempted to...), will I not get the full potential of the pencil capabilities?
  8. I have searched the videos and the help files but unsuccessfully. Guess it is because it is a bit hard to describe with correct wordings... So, what I would like to do in AF is to have a photo of let's say a kitchen table. On the table there is a red tomato. I want to turn the photo into black&white but keep the tomato red. I know this is a pretty common filter/effect, and I can do it directly in the camera, but I cannot figure out how to go about to make it work in AF. I have used the program for only a few weeks so I am somewhere along a currently rather steep learning curve :-) Please, all you knowledgeable AF people out there, what is the trick?
