It's the lack of security that worries me now Walt. I'm recently retired and have some VERY expensive windows only software running on what's now my last windows machine. A lot , with the attendant hardware, won't run on Win10 so I'm just not taking any chances. Once I'd first heard of the cessation of Win7 support by Microsoft a good few years ago now, I was determined to use Linux for as much as I could from then on. And it's almost all now. Blender replaces Cinema4D and Max, Gimp & Darktable nearly PS & AF, Natron for AfterEffects, Audacity for SoundForge, the list goes on. Amazing and all free.
