  1. Just an update (this problem is still present with Affinity 1.8.3 series), I set up a Raspberry Pi running Raspbian with a Samba share. I can open/save my Affinity documents on this share. But still unable on the Netgear... Something to inquire there.
  2. It does. Plus I tried on another Macbook with physical US keyboard running MacOS Lion: crash. Also tried with Photo's shortcuts cleared in the preferences: next key after closing the pref panel will crash. I noticed number keys (on the upper row) don't lead to a crash. Maybe because they're not bound to a function. Hitting TAB will crash.
  3. Here it is. It's a bit long because my machine is underclocked due to faulty battery. I use MacOS in english on a french machine (Macbook Pro 15 early 2011, azerty). At 0'10, I click on "v" on the screen keyboard. Second attempt at 1'40, I hit command + q on the physical keyboard. I also tried "$"... same issue: the filter menu is highlited, arrow cursor change to "beach ball" (it does not show in the video), and finally Affinity Photo exits. Screen Recording 4 bug report.m4v
  4. Hello. I may be one of the few users of Mac OS 10.7 - and it's a delight to run the most recent Affinity software (Mac App Store version) alongside oldies like Final Cut Pro 7 and Logic Express :-) Unfortunately, just any keystroke in Affinity Photo highlights the filter menu, eventually leading to a crash. Attached is the crash report. crash report affinity photo.txt
  5. Hello, I have a similar experience with a Netgear ReadyNas 102 device using CIFS/Samba shares. I cannot open Affinity documents, or drag and drop a JPG / BMP /TIFF files from this NAS. But! I can open PSD files... No problem when using AFP shares, or on a Windows 7 share. Affinity Designer, Photo or Publisher : same behaviour.
  6. Hello, I found that Affinity Photo will draw the nozzle outline for every brush that has only one nozzle. Otherwise, with two or more nozzles, the brush is shown as crosshair (inside a circle). So the workaround is quite simple: I defined an empty nozzle (1x1 white pixel document, maybe transparent is possible) and added this nozzle to a brush : the brush is now shown as a crosshair. Beware, the brush flow is modified because of the second nozzle; reduce the spacing in the general properties of the brush if the "utility" nozzle introduces jitter. Another way would be to clone the original nozzle, but where are they stored? Still, I would prefer to have a default crosshair overriding the nozzle silhouette! Bug report: in the brush editing form, in the texture panel the "add" button is greyed if you call the form on a brush that has no nozzle (ie. "airbrush" in the "spray-paints" category). So you cannot add a nozzle even if you change brush while keeping the form open. Start with another brush to be able to add nozzle. Feature requests: - allow crosshair display to override nozzle display :-) - it could be handy to be able to reorder the nozzles by drag-and-drop.
