  1. It does work with CMD+J on Mac. But make sure not to unselect/reselect the copy you just created and rotated. Do it immediately after rotating, with the object still selected.
  2. It is possible to have multiple layers with identical names. But when recording a macro, I can choose to select a layer by it's name. This doesn't define the layer clearly. It would be better to allow only unique layer names.
  3. Just wondering: why does it take 58.7MB to save a set of 6 macros, 33 steps altogether? Digging into it, it takes about 700 bytes to save a single step, but a layer copy/paste takes more than the original image size. Does it include the copy buffer when exporting the macro?
  4. After running a macro, a selected layer remains selected. A selected mask results in no selection. When creating a group in a macro, the group is closed after running the macro. Even if it contains the actually selected layer. It would be nicer to show the content of the group with the layer selected.
  5. When having a mask on a layer, I sometimes can give it a name, sometimes I can't. It depends on where I click first. Should I be able to rename a mask? When recording a macro: - It isn't possible to select multiple layers and create a group. I see an error popping up, stating 'Cannot record 'Set current selection'' when trying. - When outside the group, It isn't possible to select a layer in the group directly. One must 1st select the parent group, then the child in a 2nd step. - After entering a group, I cannot select a layer in a group by name. Only by child number. After selecting a layer in a group, I can select the next one by name. - It isn't possible to select a mask directly. One must 1st select the parent layer, then the child in a 2nd step. Just trying to automate my workflow a bit. I'm looking forward to see the macros in the release version. Good work, keep going!
  6. 'Adjustment' - 'Levels' - 'Gamma'-Slider doesn't work in this version. It can be moved, but it doesn't make any changes. Tested with tiff, jpeg, png and developed cr2.
  7. Hi, The beta just rolled out, and I started testing it. Now I’ve got some questions and remarks, all about the macro functionality. a) Is there an ability to change the sequence of the steps? b ) Is there an ability to remove a single step? c) Is there an ability to add a step in between two others? d) Does it render all steps 1st and let’s me then change parameters for the interactive steps? d1) My macro: I duplicate my layer, do an interactive Gaussian Blur step, then mask it fully transparent to brush it in after finishing the macro. Now I can’t see the blur I apply, because it is already fully transparent. d2) I have a few steps, then a 1st interactive step, a few steps again, a 2nd interactive step. When I run the macro, one pop-up window appears, with both interactions. But what if I prefer to do it step by step, seeing the 1st change 1st? (Like for Skin Retouching using Frequency Separation and Gaussian Blur.) e) It seems I can check each step on/off. But it always does all. f) The macro doesn’t record a change in layer visibility without selecting the layer first. g) While recording, I cannot select a mask layer directly. I have to select the parent first, then the mask in a 2nd step. h) Is there an ability to change the layer name recorded in the macro? i) While recording, I cannot set a mask layer name. This beta is a great step ahead. My biggest wish: Please add a sequential macro execution option or add an optional 'wait' for each interactive action! (See d).) Regards, Bernd
