PC: Win 10 x64 System with Intous 5 Sys: Intel i7-2720QM @2.20Ghz x 4 core/8 thread, 8GB RAM (DDR3) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M, 1GB, OpenGL v4.5, OpenCL v1.1 - Color Space defaults to Display color space - It asks for up to 10GB but relies on system allocation - System allocates up to 6GB (which is free) out of 8GB - Releases and asks for memory continually, no memory leaks noticed - HDR Merge with 3 x 5DsR (size 8688x5792) images is quite slow - Without Remove Ghosts ~ 3:15 minutes to merge, another 7:15 minutes to start the Tone Mapping process - Save document (afphoto) results in 1.33GB file and takes ~4 minutes to tonemap & save - HDR Merge with 3 x 5D Mk3 (size 5616x3744) images is faster - With Remove Ghosts ~ 4:45 minutes to merge, another 3:45 minutes to start the Tone Mapping process - Save document (afphoto) results in 560MB file and takes ~1:30 minutes to tonemap & save Note that with other HDR applications I get the following timings: - HDR Merge with 3 x 5DsR (size 8688x5792) images - With manual Remove Ghosts ~ 1:30 minutes to merge, deghost and start the Tone Mapping process - Save document (TIFF) results in 280MB file and takes ~1 minutes to tonemap & save Comments on this process: 1. Overall it is quite a slow process, would like to see some improvement 2. Alignment, ghost removal and tonemapping is excellent 3. Would like to be able to process images in alternative color spaces 4. Would like to save in an alternative format other than afphoto

If you invoke help open the Sizing & Transforming section and you will get a full description. Essentially changing the canvas size involves adding or taking away pixels from around the edge of your image, and Resize does just that by resizing the image.

That message is coming from ReMask not Affinity Photo.

Good, because many will use AP for finishing as we do now with products like Photoshop, especially being able to use as a external editor from RAW processors such as Lightroom and Capture One Pro.

Hi, Why is it that if you select Save, or close the image you are currently working on, it throws up the same dialog as Save as with .afphoto as the default? Would like the Save option to save the image in its original format of say TIF or JPG without requiring a confirmation dialog.

The major problem here is that Photo doesn't seem to allow RGB 16bit to be passed to Photoshop Plugins but, to add to the list of Plugins working, all plugins from Topaz Labs work with the exception of ReMask.

Hi, With Affinity Photo having the following issues with TIF files with Alpha Channel: This type of TIF file seems to be treated as RAW; TIF files with Transparencies (masks) in the Alpha Channel are opened as a black image. Embedded Color Profiles are not recognised Are there plans to support TIF files with Alpha Channels?
