Hi Chris, I should mention this was previously a PSD file that was imported and then saved as an affinity file. It's also a very heavily layered file now using multiple artboards. Let me know if you would want the file to test with. Thanks, Ryan

Hi, When copying a group from one artboard to a new artboard within the same document it produces a series of blank thumbnail images in the layers panel. I've tried re-saving the document. The problem does resolve when closing the file and re-opening but that is not ideal. Just a heads up. Thanks, Ryan.

Hi, I'm a former FW user and for the life of me I can't figure out how to simply slice a banner from a web page mockup and then replace the image in the banner and re-slice it again with a different name? Am I missing something with the slicing feature? Currently, it just leaves the previous slice in place. Any advice as to the intended Affinity workflow would be appreciated. Thanks, Ryan.

Hi, In latest beta version while working in the text tool suddenly you can not move the text using the arrow keys, only dragging text works. Copy and paste no longer works either Re-starting the application fixes the issue. Thanks, Ryan.

Turns out there is an option in preferences that IS NOT on by default, "Select object when intersects with selection marquee". This solved my problem. Thanks, Ryan.

Hi, So i've tried this and its not quite working right. I think the issue is trying to click through the group to get the appropriate layer while still having other layers selected that are outside that group. If I select a layer then hold shift and click another layer, it deselects my original option. I'm used to fireworks where you can drag a selection around or touching the elements whether they overlap or not and then being able to add a slice to it. I see in the video touching elements and have them selected is possible but for some reason it's not working for my situation. Probably need some help here understanding what i'm doing wrong. Hi, I'm not finding a good way to mass select layers for exporting when those layers are part of different groups. I've imported a PSD layered file and trying to select overlapping elements for export but the selection is not grabbing the right layers. I watched the videos and "Ctrl+Alt" doesn't seem to do what I need either. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Ryan. PS. Awesome software - I had no idea how feature-rich the application really was until diving into the videos. I'm a Sketch, FW, AI and PS user but really like what I'm seeing here from Affinity for web design use.
