I'm very rarely on these forums, but although I use Windows 10 for some work, I spend as much time as possible using Linux.
I'd love to see Affinity applications run on Linux, because it's frustrating to have to re-boot just to use art applications.
I really don't care what distro I need to use it, I have no interest in "what's the best" because people all have different tastes/requirements. My RL partner and I are both Linux nerds and use wildly different distros. I'd suggest a distro that's straightforward enough for newer Linux users with a decent community to help answer questions, but specific distro doesn't matter to me beyond that. I've tried and used many in the 20 years I've used Linux. Whatever "flavour" I've been able to get my other business software running and customise the desktop so it suited me.
I'm happy to re-buy licences and install a new distro to support Affinity. Just as I've bought the full suite even though I'd rather not use Windows. They're great applications and I'd love for them to be accessible to Linux users too. I got started in digital art using Linux, so I really want other new artists to have that OS as an entry point.
