  1. I'm very rarely on these forums, but although I use Windows 10 for some work, I spend as much time as possible using Linux. I'd love to see Affinity applications run on Linux, because it's frustrating to have to re-boot just to use art applications. I really don't care what distro I need to use it, I have no interest in "what's the best" because people all have different tastes/requirements. My RL partner and I are both Linux nerds and use wildly different distros. I'd suggest a distro that's straightforward enough for newer Linux users with a decent community to help answer questions, but specific distro doesn't matter to me beyond that. I've tried and used many in the 20 years I've used Linux. Whatever "flavour" I've been able to get my other business software running and customise the desktop so it suited me. I'm happy to re-buy licences and install a new distro to support Affinity. Just as I've bought the full suite even though I'd rather not use Windows. They're great applications and I'd love for them to be accessible to Linux users too. I got started in digital art using Linux, so I really want other new artists to have that OS as an entry point.
  2. Another thumbs up here! I'm really enjoying the Spotlight site so far
  3. Congratulations on the launch! I've bought Designer and the workbook and I'm thrilled with both. I'm looking forward to getting the same for the other Affinity applications when they arrive. :D I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun using this software and seeing it develop.
  4. I'm an AD newbie (and loving it so far) but I had my first beta crash today :) I had closed Designer with the help page open and when I tried to run Designer again, it crashed with this message: An Unhandled Exception has occurred. Code: 0x80070079 It happened a couple of times before I spotted the help window was still open and closed it. It loaded fine after I closed help and then started Designer. I'm not having trouble making it crash if I do the above, so hopefully it's an easy bug to squish.
