  1. I had some crashes in prior versions, but not major issues.

Now, this one has really sucked me.

I updated from 1.5.0.23 yesterday and I had a bad error that caused my Windows 10 to crash. I had to reinstall the system.

Today, I installed some programmes and nothing happened. I hadn't even updated the system at all. HOWEVER, as soon as I installed AD 1.5.0.24 again, the OS crashed and disappeared.

I have to install EVERYTHING again.

Thanks for everything but I'm done with your product for long.

  2. I know you said you tried using the Pen tool, but did you try using it in "Polygon Mode"? In that mode, with "Snap" enabled (in the Context toolbar) you can easily draw rectilinear (right angle) paths. If you also turn on Snapping (in the main toolbar) after making a ] shaped path, you can start a new one that snaps to the midpoint of the last one's vertical segment.

You can also use guides or grids to keep everything nicely rectilinear if you enable snapping to them.

Polygon Mode? I don't get how it would be possible. Would you mind creating an example, please?

  3. Hi MikeMoyle,

    Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Affinity will display the rulers in the units you set for your document. So if you change you document units to inches the rulers will also display in inches. You can change the document units in the context toolbar when the View Tool is selected (Photo and Designer) or in the Document Setup dialog in Designer (menu File ▸ Document Setup...).

I was wondering that DPI tool. I still don't understand very well how that modify my work. Would you mind defining what happen to document when changing it?
