  1. I have now discovered a new issue which causes crashes. It happens when I attempt to create a new document in Designer and want it colour formatted for CMWK - a big issue for me as my colour printer jobs require it. But Designer crashes whenever I try to set up the document. No problem with setting up a new document as RGB. So with the other issue of further crashes in all three Affinity apps when trying to open documents with images. Affinity Support are aware of the issue but, so far, it ha snot been resolved. It is possible to create new documents without a problem. But, for me, the crashing issue means I have no access to a document I have spent the last two months creating. I really Affinity can come up with a fix otherwise I, and I suspect quite a few others, are lost. It`s a pity because I am a great supporter of Affinity and have never had a problem in the past.
  2. I am having similar problems with V2.3.1. Documents crash the programme when trying to open them in all three apps. I tried reinstalling one of the Apps (Photo) and found that the msix file in Downloads came up with an error message and would not load. So I now have no Photo app. Is this a known problem? Does anyone know how to resolve it? At the moment I am totally stymied.
  3. Finally resolved this issue after reinstalling all three programmes. It didn`t work after the Publisher reinstall. But did after I also reinstalled Designer and Photo. I suspect it might have had something to do with the validation of one of the licenses.
  4. Have now emailed Serif Affinity support in the hope they can help. In the meantime will try your reset idea. Many thanks for your support and interest.
  5. Yes, they are. I updated all three programmes at the same time. There has to be a glitch somewhere. Perhaps it`s Covid 19! A pity because Studio Link a neat thing to have. But only if it works.
  6. I have the latest versions of Publisher, Photo and Designer - 1.8.3.64 and Windows 10 64 Bit. Studio Link is not working. When attempting to access :Photo or Designer from Publisher I get the message that they are not installed (although they are and working OK independently) and to use Studio Link. I have not had problems in the past accessing them and it seems that the version update may have something to do with the problem. Help please.
  7. Having inadvertently deleted the rainbow style option how can I reinstall it?
  8. Sorry. I obviously got the wrong impression thinking it was an Affinity programme. Although having said that why not have it in Affinity? That would make it more competive with Photoshop Elements.
  9. I have the Vector Brush Tool in that position which is why I am asking the question. Is there some way of bringing up other modes (as in Photoshop). If so I can`t find a way of bringing it up. It looks like a good thing to have access to so I would like to try it out. Sorry if am missing something.
  10. I can`t find the Selection Brush Tool. The normal brush tool is there but not one for selection to use in cut outs. Can you point me in the right directionm?
  11. Does Affinity have a cut out programme similar to Photoshop (Elements) which allows for cutting around parts of an image following all the contours - either magnetic or manual? This is different, of course, to the crop tool.
