  1. I think I may have uncovered the problem: the objects in the new file I created looked the same until you put another shape behind them. In the case shown above, they are on a white content area in the design which is why I hadn't picked it up. It's as though the default blend mode for shapes and text is different or something? As a workaround, it appears that putting the text in a group (even on its own) and applying the transparency to the group renders it correctly.
  2. I appear to have done something to my file which is causing text and shapes with the same colour and transparency values to look different (see attachment - both are 100% black @ 87% layer opacity - same thing happens with colour opacity). Debugging: If I create a new file and copy & paste the objects into it, then it looks correct. If I create new text and shape objects in a different file and paste them in, they have the same issue If I convert the text to curves then it looks correct Any ideas what setting or something I've accidentally changed?!
  3. Another one for you: In "Pixel Drawing Mode" the artboard background rending is off slightly (see attachement - this is with the artboard selected, but you can see that the background is not aligned)
  4. There seems to be a slightly random set of keyboard shortcuts that are not working. Here are the one's I've tested so far: Broken: - Show/hide Grid [Ctrl+'] - Show/hide Guides [Ctrl+;] - Duplicate [Ctrl+J] - Move to front/back [Ctrl+Shift+[ / ] ] - Zoom Out [Ctrl+-] (Ctrl+mouse wheel does work) Working: - Show/hide Rulers [Ctrl+R] - Move forward/back one [Ctrl+[ / ] ] - Show/hide Toolbar [Ctrl+Alt+T] - Preferences [Ctrl+,] - Zoom In [Ctrl+=] - Zoom presets [Ctrl(+Alt)+0/1/2/3/4/8/9] - Lock/Unlock [Ctrl+L]/[Ctrl+Shift+L] - Group/Ungroup [Ctrl+G]/[Ctrl+Shift+G] - All the standard Copy, Paste, Select All, Select None, etc.
  5. First off - great product, thank you. I'm just doing my first project trying out the Windows Beta, having finally found what looks like a great alternative to Adobe Fireworks (at a significantly lower price!) My only niggle so far: it would be good if, having set a custom grid size on the first artboard, subsequent artboards picked that up as their default. I understand that you may wish to have different grids on different artboards, but if they defaulted to the same, that would be handy. Keep up the good work.
