Perhaps Serif are unable to do this, but won't admit it. This thread has been running for years without result, unlike the Serif of the 90s when you could telephone and get answers (and results).

As DXF and DWG have been requested for years, the only solution seems to be stick with CD. Incidentally the home edition of CD X8 does NOT have these formats supported.

Until DXF/DWG import/export are available sadly Affinity Designer is not usable by my company - these formats are essential to transfer data to Catia CAD.CAM which is an industry standard.

No point in looking at AD until it can do DWG/DXF import/export - I need it for Catia.

Is the Windows version of Affinity Designer able to export work as dwg or dxf file formats?
