Hi Ken. Fine to see you. Sorry for my late answer, I was on vacation for a few days.
I tried what you explain, but no success.
this is what I just did:
- Open Affinity, default canvas size.
- I select the brush tool (with the mouse, I don't use the tablet in this test).
- No controller is active.
- I draw a curve.
- I click on the selection icon (the first icon in the tool list).
- A frame is displayed around the curve, so I assume it is selected.
- I can change the line style (no line, solid line, dash line and texture). This works. I can also change the width.
- I change the pressure profile. No effect on the curve.
- I do the same test with a second line, but this time, I set the controller to pressure before drawing the line. The pressure profile applies to this line and I can change it at any time when the line is selected.
i noticed also another undesired effect: When a line is selected, its attributes are displayed above the drawing area. It says: "Curve, Fill: Stroke:..." and then, button with the shape and the width. When clicking on this button, a pop-up window opens where all the properties can be modified (it is a duplicate of the stroke tab).
When I try to change the line style in this window, I get the following situation:
- I can change to 'no line' as well as to 'solid line'. When i try to click on the dash style, the whole window moves a few pixels to the left and comes back. Instead of the dash mode, the texture mode is selected. I guess this is depending on the screen resolution. My resolution is 1600x900.
