I did try uninstalling 1.10.1 and reinstalling 1.10.0 but got the same results. I downloaded and ran the Microsoft Net fixer and that said I was running the latest version. Could I try installing 1.10.1 on my wife’s laptop?

Thank you Lee D. I've now had a reply from Serif, so I've got your option and theirs to try. Will let you know how thing go, appreciate your reply though.

I've never had any problems before, but on upgrading to AP 1.10.1 today, it will not load, and my AP just shows the opening logo and says "Fonts loading" then closes. I've uninstalled and re-installed; I've deleted all AP folders, and I've re-booted, but to no avail. Can someone help me to completly clear 1.10.0 and install 1.10.1 please? Thanks in advance. P.S. I've also emailed Affinity support but being the weekend it will take several days for them to reply. Thank you.

When using the dodge, or burn tool, or even the smudge tool, after picking the size of my brush, I cannot get back to the pointer to resume work - the programme justs stops responding. The only way back, is to quit, without an option to save any work.

Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong??? When I try to load a Canon RAW file, it loads into the 'normal' window - I can't get into the RAW editor.
