left: Affinity canvas, right PDF in Preview – the arrows seem to become expanded (same look as when I expand stroke in AD😞 Update: I found out that it had to do with Mitre 1.5 - I set it to 1 and that did the trick (1 is much better in many cases, btw.) But I still consider it a bug.

Being more than happy with the new warping I have this feature request/issues with it – please see short movie. If the inner warp group could be converted in some kind of smart object that might sove the problem? ADWarping.mp4

Whenever I move a warped opbect (actually this is warping a warped object – see layers palette) the gpu seems to have issues with the screen rendering: M1 MacBook Pro 2021 – 16GB RAM, loads of SSD space. As soon as I zoom in/out the traces are gone, wverything looks fine again until the next move.

I have the same issue with Designer. Both, a PSD-File and a .afdesign-File are not updated and update button is greyed out. I hope Serif is gonna fix this – it worked with AD 1.x. I'm working solely on Dropbox. Would be a super major issue for us, if that'd stay.

I suddenly have frames and contours all around my elements (what's the correct name of them?) Please see screenshot: these violet borders. I must have pressed the impossible key-combination or so... How do I hide them?

However I look at it – it is just a major PITA. It could be so much more intuitive for – I think – the most of us...

Thanks, @loukash, this made things much clearer to me. Then I still have one single wish which comes very close to a bug report: At export each artboard's upper left must be considered its individual 0x 0y position. (There is even an option at export to export everything with "background" if I want these artboards to be exactly where they really are in relation to each other): Going further on this: When I select any element and I then export this element solely (Selection only) its upper left should be considered as 0x 0y – that's the only way that makes sense – Why would I otherwise want to export it individually?

No, it is not a feature: When you have an artboard 23.3mm by 33.75mm you'd expect it to export at 23.3mm by 33.75mm When you have an artboard that is 733px by 400px you'd expect it to export at 733px by 400px no matter where on the canvas the artboards are. This (as it is now, seen in the movie) makes absolutely no sense and makes the work with many artboards ridiculously difficult. Precision is arguable but the location on the canvas isn't. There is NO case in which this makes sense.

@loukash If I would export the red elements only I'd say you're right but there is an invisible rectangle around the red elements which has exactly the same dimension behind every icon: This should make considering the exact position of the red icon elements obsolete. These rectangles are 55x50px and have no outlines/strokes so I expect them to export at exactly this size.

@loukash I agree on everything (specially the last one ;-)). But to be more specific: AD should have basic text features such as a proper hyphenation (why is there this feature in the panel when it doesn't do anything?) I may miss the obvious.

Version 2 has some promising and cool new features. However, this bug (yes it is) is still in. While I understand that not everyone can be pleased I am astonished and really frustrated that this bug made it into 2.x Let's look at it profoundly: Serif claims to have products that are so precise that you can zoom into your precious designs in 6-digit values and more but the Apps cannot export an artboard exactly on the pixel. Designers for Online media are forced to check their 20+ artboards everytime before exporting their webbanners in different sizes Serif should fix this ?!£/&%-Bug or state that the apps are not suited for any kind of design for online media. I lack the time of moving the artboards around like eggs every single time I need some space in between them.

I really think it does not help the product, when folks in here state, that the input xy is not valid because there is a workaround there is no need for this feature this feature is in another app (of the suite) It slows down the development because of people getting tired of suggesting things. If there is a poll everyone is welcome to state a "nah!" but when there is the need for something for people to take their time and post it here, there must be a reason to look at it. If this sounds harsh, please forgive me, I'm not naive english and do not intend to offend anyone. Have a great day, ye all.

Did not happen here in a while... I'm on ventura and recently on the 2.0 line of the apps. But no probs before, too. @eduardoemiliovs Good luck with Adobe and its huge bag of bugs.

Alt + Click sets the transform origin anchorpoint at any place clicked. You can see it in the video.

I made a movie about it. And before someone drops in the usual "Nah, I never use this feature" – yes, I do need this really very often. Thanks for considering this improvement. ADTransformOrigin.m4v
