  1. Hi, can we expect columns span and split? Tables across pages, table notes and some simple math? Please.
  2. Forr this kind of post it would be better if you use numbering style instead of bullets, for easy addressing the answers.
  3. Yes, I figured it out. It's the only solution. I wish decorations to be part of character formating, too.
  4. No, I applied those layer effects to a text in a text frame and then applied "Decorations > Fill" to the text.
  5. Hi, I added some layer effects to the text in Publisher 2.0 (Win x64) and then wanted to create a yellow background (stripes) bellow it. After I clicked on "Decorations > Fill" all layer effects were moved to the decorations as you can see on the bottom of the image. Am I missing something; Is this intentionally, or is it a bug?
  6. When you open these lists, you can't enter the name of the font. You can choose it only by scroling.
  7. Hi, Please, allow us to choose fonts in text styles by entering their names manually, not only by scrolling the font list. If we could get font preview -- even better.
  8. The problem arise when you want to place a picture (drawing) and with the loaded cursor start to drag to resize the object on the fly. In this case Transform panel is inactive and you can't see how much to drag the object.
  9. I have also super easy and even faster workflow -- I do it in InDesign directly.
  10. Transform panel works well when trying to resize an object already placed on page, but when you want to place a picture and resize it immediatelly (while cursor is loaded), Transform panel is inactive.
  11. Maybe because multi page thread is easy to achieve in Designer? It is still a valid request, but in meantime...
  12. It would be nice if A-Team add these capabilities to Designer considering artboards: Artboards should not overlap each other; When resizing the width of the (middle) artboard, it should push the page next to it. These 2 features can simulate what we want to be added in Publisher -- multi page spreads.
  13. They must change it to work as in Publisher and Designer because, this way, it is used no more than once if you need to crop the canvas. Totally useless. If you plan wisely i.e. by defining the canvas size at the very start, you will not use it at all.
  14. I vote for Python because of its elegance, simplicity and efficience, but to be honest, with JavaScript we can have access to plenty of scripts written for InDesign which we can modify if needed to accomodate for Affinity products.
  15. Having in mind the IDML file... When I want to join some first line indented paragraph with the previous by pressing <BACKSPACE>, Publisher deletes some unexisting space characters. To try, just put the cursor in front of the red words and press <BACKSPACE> few times to join with the previous paragraph.
  16. So, you won't support it directly as you will support JavaScript?
  17. It's too complicated to apply this to all other paragraphs. I'll wait a better times.
