Thank you very much for your helpful reply. It sounds like another setting to be vigilant about. I've solved my problem by creating new pages and entering clean text. The note was sequential. whew! -
Hello I'd welcome help in solving a problem with my footnotes. I'm unable to get them to be sequential past the 4th footnote. When I insert the 5th Footnote one on the next page it repeats as 4th footnote and changes the previous footnote to 5. I'm guessing I messed it up somehow as this is my first go at doing footnotes. I've read earlier posts and my footnotes are sequential up to this one. Any ideas as to how to clean this up are welcome. Many thanks
