Hi I tried this. The brushes file are in the resources folder of affinity designer and when I open the app the brushes are available. However the brushes files are not in the resources folder for affinity designer 2 and subsequently not available on the app. This must be the problem, the missing .propcol files? I have attached pictures

I will add if I try to import brushes there are no folders containing them I can see (I have attached a screenshot). Also with the update all the preset new documents disappeared as well I had to make new ones.

If an affinity document is open the dialogue box does not appear. it is the same for the pixel persona. I don’t install anything, I am a teacher and the IT department installs all software, I don’t have access to it. They don’t know anything about the software however. thanks

Hi that didn’t seem to change anything. I have attached a picture of the dialogue box. The only difference might be it says ‘clear’ instead of ‘reset’?

Previously I had the headings like acrylic, inks, watercolour, etc but no brushes to select when you click on them. Now I have what’s in the attached picture.

Hi thanks for the quick reply. I have done this but don't have any brushes back. It has now deleted the brush categories that were there before?

Hi when i try to open a new file on affinity designer 2 I cant select anything. It gives me a selection of categories which I can also select in the drop down menu. When I select a category in the drop down menu it does not provide any choices from this category. I have attached an image below, the 'create' button is blacked out and I cant click on it? so I cannot advance beyond this window?
