I still simply do not understand that this crop feature is so difficult to make in a piece of modern image software. Why not let the users decide which crop mode they want as default?

Thanks. Well, I am SO surprised about this "issue". I am coming from Photoshop but chose Affinity's alternative to save some money. That said I am so close to return to Adobe but I am feeling a bit frustrated about the "We don't care" from Affinity. Anyhow thanks for your comments. It is appreciated.

It's quite irritating to have to set the crop ratio every time I do a crop. Is it possible to somehow set the Affinity Phototo remember the last setting? I would love to have a crop function which default is Resample.

Well, not here. If I crop an image: Resample 1200 x 800 pixels And shot down the Affinity Photo And restart it we are back at Crop > Unconstrained Why? I miss a opportunity to make my own Crop default setting. Any help?
