This thread started on September 20. We’re nearly halfway through October. No bug fix. No update whatsoever. Not cool, team. -
Restarting helped! Thank you so much. 🙌 The font selection bug still persists though, please fix that. Thanks.

This 2.2 update has been the buggiest Affinity update ever. Designer app is still buggy with font selection. Photo app keeps crashing when importing photos. My work has been badly affected by this for a week now and there has been no update so far for either app. Please fix these issues soon.

Affinity Photos app keeps crashing when: importing photos from the Photos app Placing photo in a document App just closes itself. Also gives a null error when importing directly. iPad Pro 10.5, Affinity Photo 2.2.0.2005, 17.0.2

It’s happening every time I open any project file I’m working on (not necessarily just after launching the app), in both orientations of the iPad. It seems to me that the app registers the correct orientation only upon opening the file a second time right after closing it. -

Don’t have the exact figure but I think they’re in the 300-400 range. All installed directly through the Affinity app. Never had any problem like this before the update (Affinity and iOS). Also, I’m observing a UI orientation glitch as well when any file is first opened. Have to close and open again for it to correct itself. Take a look at the attached screenshots for both issues.

Facing the same issue on my device too. Font Selection pop-up gets stuck and doesn’t scroll. Can’t change or select any font. iPad OS 17.0.1 Affinity Designer 2.2.0.2005 iPad Pro 10.5
