I don't want to mishape. I have a vector comic image of a cat. I want to select/isolate one of the legs and reposition it. That's as technical as I can get ... sorry.

Hi, tearing my (bit of) 80 year old hair out here. I have a simple vector image in Designer and I want to select and move parts of it. Can I work it out? NOOO! I have drawn around the bit of the image I want ro move with the pen ... but can't do anything with it, apart from save it a a shape in a layer. I don't want the shape per se, I want that part of the image. As you may tell .. I am pretty new and clueless. Thanks

Hi, sorry for the deay. The file here is the size my website requires. Looks crisp onscreen. When I SHARE to Photos, it becomes blurred. and I need it NON blurred when II put it on Facebook to advertise a new kiddie' podcast. Best Bird copy.afdesign

Replying to myself here !! I changed the properties of the image to the preset A4 option (which I hadn't clocked earlier), , which made it tiny, and then expanded the tiny image to fit the A4 preset. It was almost a straight fit, but some bits posed some problems. Thanks me.

Hi, 79 yrs old, and a bit crummy at IT. I used to use A4 format in Aff Designer which worked well, but then I was told to design in dimensions of 300px by 390px for website. When I SHARE from AD to Photos (on the iMac),, they come out blurred. My old A4s never did. Always crisp. I have tried to change dimensions using the properties of the image, but 'Honey I shrunk the image.' I have only done 2 pieces using the recommended pixel dimensions ... is there any way to change these after the event without me having to start again from scratch in A4 please? Dave PS don't forget that I am an ancient half-wit!! I

Thanks fro trying ... just tried alt (on my keyboard ???) click, and the blue Pressure box just closes. Nodes do not have a chance to turn darker blue ... the box disappears! Sorry .... where should I be posting?

Hi, I am 79 and technically challenged. i have Sequoia and Designer 2.5.5 I can’t remember having any trouble with Sonoma, but now the stroke pressure box seems to have a mind of its own. When I open it up and click on a corner node, the box often just closes. When I do make contact with a node, the left and right are synced … drag one down, the other goes down. I can create a mid node, (though recently it created six mid nodes all by itself!!) and that behaves. Stroke Pressure is unworkable at the moment. Is it me or the app??? Dave

Wow Garry, Thanks. You make it look SO easy. Of course my screen looks nothing like yours ... as I tried to say on another reply to someone, even the Persona icons are missing on my screen. Thanks Gary, but for a simpleton like me ... ? Glow? I just want the black stuff gone so that the guy is by himself. As I said previously Adobe Express just DID it all in 30 seconds or so. No questions about rasters, pixels, glow etc Perhaps Serif could employ someone like me, an IT halfwit, to veto complicated stuff. Dave
