Hello. Brilliant beginners tutorial. One thing I can't do, and have tried many times, is use the In painting tool to erase. I found the right brush eventually, now can cover an area in red, but CANNOT erase the area I have highlighted. I let go of mouse and nothing happens. Any help out there please?

Have located ( at last) the In painting brush but not sure how it works. Am following the beginners video successfully but stuck on this.

I've located In painting Tool thanks to the Forum, but can't get it to cover an area as demonstrated in Affinity beginners tutorial. Can someone help?
