  1. The lag really is bad when using pencil or brush on any of the apps. I can draw with clipart studio no problem with zero lag. If you're using a 3090 or even a 3040 to be able to draw with pencil or bruth then it's way overkill. We need the performance back we had in v1. The minum standard should be able to use at least a surface pro go 2 (it's prefect sketch size) without having to wait 2-5 mins after a long pencil or brush line. While drawing on clip art studio I can draw for hrs with no lag in brush. Due to this I can't really draw pressure based lines since it will lag, so I have to draw with clip art studio for now until it gets fixed.
  2. Which i a big nuscence distracting my focus from my actual projects. And yes that is what I do. Yet my focus is more on starting drawing in such a way to try not to drag the studio folder and resign it than actually drawing with my stylus. Some times I'll have to reset multiple times in a row when I get into my project forgetting that I have to make sure not to drag the folders. This is a not a big thing yet it's a big distraction at times.
  3. This is something that most drawing\design apps tend to ignore and yet build a whole complete ui for ipads. While there are a number of touchscreen windows users who'd use drawing apps that would love to use use the app to without having to flip the keyboard in and out or a sperate keyboard instead be able to use like holding a drawing notebook and pad. Things that are need to make that work are: 1- be able to rotate canvas using touchscreen just like zooming in and out using two fingers. 2- touch shortcuts that can be customized. Ex: 3 fingers swipe left= undo, right= redo, up= actual size zoom, down= select\deselect all. 3- Have an studio window for touch buttons like shift, alt, ctrl, etc. Or even better buttons that adapt for each tool so not having to hold things like ctrl shift. Also a keyboard tab. 4- Auto hide tabs for studio giving more room work on the touchscreen especially when wanting to use a small computer like a surfact pro go instend of a 15+ 2-in-touchscreen since it's a lot more comfortable using in lap\ hand. This wayone could just click the tab they want to use and that studio function opens up. And which one they don't want to autohide and be always available can be put in the bottom or right left corner\corner. Ex: for me color/swatches, stroke, and navigation i'd prefer to be always visible in designer. Yet things like symbols, history, brushes, assist, layer I'd rather have it in a tab folder that the whole list pops up. Now that's my preference and I'm sure everyone would have a specfic layout that would suits them best. 5. When change things like stroke, stablizer, text size and other number slider it need to be a lot longer with touchscreen and have notches for either custom number or like 1-10 single digits, 10-50 increments of 5, 50+ increments of 10. Or something along those lines. 6. The new window needs to be sized smaller for or reworked better working portiat on a tochscreen 7. Larger color chooser for touchscreen when using stylus without keyboard to make it easier to choose exact color. rougly 20% larger. 8. Have a touchscreen mode toggle so one can swap if they're using their touchscreen without a keyboard or going back to the keyboard and using the mouse show the better studio layout is being used for current drawing\design mode. 9. Not having to "click"\touch the screen in order to right click via stylue, instead have right click work within range when cursor appears using the stylus and not having to hold right click, just click it once. Now there are a few smaller changes\additions that could be done to make affinity more touchsreen friendly without haveing to drag a keyboard or wireless keypad with you. And there's sure to more suggestions that touchscreen user would be willing to add on. Also it'll encourage more touchscreen user to get Affinity. I do have more details of how ideas\ ui concepts that I could work out and help design yet that's hrs of my time I'd not be giving away for free. Thank you in advanced for concideration! Hope you plan to implant this in order to increase Affinity experience 10 fold.
  4. I have to resize my studio multiple times pre session whenever I accidently drag and resize it. It's more an annoyance issue then a time saving issue, thought it's that as well.
  5. I mean currently if nothing is selected currently the vector fill tool won't work. It should be instead that the current layer you're working on should act as if selected while using the vector fill, if edit all layers isn't selected. If edit all layer is selected then act as if all layer are selected. Obviously disreagaring all hidden items\objects. As far as gap. If I draw a face shape for example and I'm like 4-6 pixel sort of connecting. The vector fill should auto connect the gap in the fill, not in the drawn vector just the fill shape.
  6. There should be an option to both lock the studio tabs So not having resize them every time one accidently grabs them. Also the ability to autohide it as well so to have more work screen when draing especially a using a stylus and\or a more compact computer (ex: surface pro go).
  7. Love the direction the vector fill tool is going. It's the most seeked feature at least for me. Saving many many hrs. It's what affintiy lacked the most in my opinion. The fill in visible is the most amazing add in. Yet 2 addtions to the tool to make it better are: 1. When using fill invisble it shouldn't matter if the vectors are connected or not as long as visibly their isn't a gap. 2. Not having to select all in order to fill. If not selected then would just use all visible vectors in selected layer or if work in all layers selected then all visible vector. 3. This is an extra. Have a gap tolerance option to either small gaps and autofill using a project guess of how the vector would finish so not having to zoom in\and out all of the just fill in tiny gaps.
  8. So this is how you comment on the actual tool. Well the vector flood fill tool needs be able to work without having to select vector. Instead it should also work if no vectors are selected creating a vector fill using the vector closest to the selected point. This way won't have to select all. Also there needs to be a gap tolerance in order to be able to select an area that might a small gap between the vectors instead of having to keep finding points that aren't connected/ fully cross and edit them to make the tool work\fill the desired area.
  9. Instead of having to select vectors every time. One should be able to just select the bucket and click and fill and all visible vector in the selected area are used to create the vector fill. The option to select should exist yet not required. Along with that there should a gap tolerance that will still fill the area making up for small gaps one might not have seen.
  10. It's really hard to make sure one's feedback isn't new feedback. There is not way to search within a forum, at least I couldn't find it. If it does exist it should be a lot easier to find. So instead I'm forced to make a new forum instead of spending a lot of my time scrolling through them to try to find one.
