  1. Hi @thomaso , Thank you for your feedback and all your explanations. My source file is indeed a vectorized file (see attachment "vecto.jpg"). Then, with the screen copies (PDF rendering), I attest to my previous email: - the attachment "300%" is the same file vectorized with opacity at 25% - and the one in the last attachment "300% net" is still the same file vectorized with 100% opacity. At your listen. Thanks.
  2. Thank you very much for your reply. @Lee D: The PDF settings are normal, I didn't change the specifics @Old Bruce: That's true and logical. However, I had already worked on another medium with JPG images, I just had to integrate good resolutions and when printed, the result was completely correct @thomaso: the output size is correct, with 300 dpi. For your information, I noticed in the image insertions that not all of them were in JPG. Only one was in PDF. So i then transformed the source JPGs into PDFs and then reinserted them into the layout. Result, the rendering is more than correct. I don't know why this works but it does. Another thing I'm trying to resolve. It is a vectorized image that appears pixelated when I lower its opacity percentage (25%) once saved as a PDF. I did yet another test, when it was 100% then saved as PDF, it was perfect! If you have any ideas to help me solve this, I'm interested...
  3. Hi. Once exported to PDF, the image (JPG origin) has a pixelated preview. Should I import it into the layout in eps format like in Indesign? What should I do please. Thank you in advance for your feedback.
  4. I downloaded the update through your link. The last one was done well. The initial bug, which I assumed was related to the update, seems to be working for the moment. Thank you very much Walt !
  5. Hi Walt. Sorry for the silence. I can tell you what I did by screen copy (1 > 4). Update still not working. Once finished the 3rd step. Nothing happens related to the update. It simply displays the splash window to create a page. Then, I went to the "Help" section to click on "Check for updates", the initial window on screen copy n°1 appears again. The update was not done.
  6. Hi Walt. Thanks for your feedback. I didn't understand. What exactly should I do?
  7. Hello everyone. By simply typing text and using the space bar between words, the "Affinity Publisher 2.0.0" software crashes. I also told myself that I had to update, go from Affinity Publisher 2.0.0 to 2.3.0 (maybe a bug via the updates not carried out). So I clicked on "Install", I see that it is loading...then the loading seems to be finished....but...it did not offer me an opening on a web page as stipulated on the Affinity website: "If you select Download, you are redirected to a web page which offers you the latest Windows version available for your Affinity product"....: here the link (to paragraph "How to download digital product updates?"). I also restarted just in case... Observation, I don't see any change: - always crashes when I use the spacebar - when starting the software, it always indicates 2.00 so no update Furthermore, for your information, on other software, the space bar works very well... Do you have any solutions please? THANKS
  8. It's heard, It doesn't matter, Yes, OK, that's all noted, : )
  9. As a reminder, I had already succeeded in decompressing the downloaded software files ".msix" with "7-zip" (software which opens ".msix" extensions. Another example, like winrar which opens ".zip" extensions) . And by chance, I click on the ".exe" of one of the 2 software and it opens... suddenly their installations are done! ☺️ I thank you again for your presence ⭐, for your invaluable help 🙏. Greetings and Merry Christmas from New Caledonia, at the end of the world!
  10. Hello. Thanks for your feedback @SrPx and @walt.farrell. Indeed, it was first necessary to update Windows 10. Since our last exchanges (12/12/22), it took me 3 days to solve "error 0x80240034", the problem was tough, I did lots of tests. And I ended up finding the solution by downloading everything last night (here n°8, in French)... Now when I click on the 1st software "affinity-photo-2.0.0.msix" look what shows me. I will try to solve the problem on my side.
  11. I will try to answer you. So to be able to do a "real" installation, I again opened the 2 msix software with "MSIX Packaging Tool". But in the "MSIX Packaging Tool" folder, I clicked on this icon which looks like a "valid" folder. Here is his message see in PJ
  12. Indeed, you can directly right click on the Windows icon (bottom left) and have the command "Run"
  13. SrPx and walt.farrell, For information, I purchased and downloaded Affinity Photo 2 and Affinity Publisher 2 (12/12/22), and their extensions were icons with ".msix" (see PJ). I had nothing to open them. After several researches and several tests, I finally understood that I was under windows 7 and the 2 software only opened with Windows 10. So I updated my Windows to Windows 10. Now , I'm on Windows 10. I managed to unzip them (open) with "7-zip" (see PJ) because "Msix Packaging Tool" told me it was already open but in its folder it showed nothinignanything resembling software?! (see PJ). Now, the folders of each software have been decompressed but the software does not open (see PJ).
  14. Hi walt.farrell, - 3rd TEST, here is the message (see attached) which displays "AffinityPhoto2.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command, an executable program or a command file"
