  1. YEAH!!! In fact, that was the problem. All the time I tried to import the files via my network. (Importing via my Affinity account had always worked.) Now I copied the files to a USB stick - and what happened? It worked. So simple. It's strange that it doesn't work over the network - but it doesn't matter. Now I know the problem. Thank you all very much for the great and fast support!!! - Now I can finally work outside 😄😄
  2. To be on the safe side, I selected everything (on all three) and then also restarted the PC. Unfortunately, still the same error.
  3. Thank you, now I found the crashreports for the msi/exe versions. 0afd5d4e-4fe5-41ef-88b9-318adec83866.dmp 48d235c8-6daa-4257-aea9-d67585042039.dmp
  4. Many, many thanks for your support. Unfortunately, the last step did not work either. The reset of all apps left the problem unfortunately. The app still crashes on every type of import. In this case it was only a small color palette. Thanks again and I also hope affinity takes a look here.
  5. Oh dear, I didn't see that there were different versions to install. Ok, I have uninstalled all msix versions. I installed the new msi/exe versions. Unfortunately, the problem remains. Designer opened, crash when trying to import. Designer opened as administrator, crash when trying to import. Attached is the event viewer from Windows. The crashreports were not saved now. Are they now saved in a different location than msix? Error-Designer.exe-event viewer-msi.txt
  6. Any kind of import crashes everything, Designer V2, Photo V2 and Publisher V2. Whether assets, brushes or color palettes, the software closes immediately without notice. All three, Designer, Photo and Publisher. Software: latest versions of affinity 2 for windows Hardware: Microsoft Surface 8 Pro Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 2.42 GHz RAM 16.0 GB System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Pen and touch input Support for pen and touch input with 10 touch points Windows: Windows 11 Home edition Version 22H2 Installed on 10/15/2022 Operating system build 22621.1778 Performance Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22642.1000.0 All, but really all suggested support measures have been implemented: 1. reset Affinity 2. .Net repair tool 3. sfc /scannow (scan) 4. dism.exe /online/ cleanup-image/restorehealth (Repair) 5. reinstall directx12 6. reinstall .Netframe 4.8 7. reinstall visual 8. unistall/reinstall all affinity apps 9. hardware acceleration sometimes on, sometimes off, same error 10. update all drivers (graphic drivers etc) 11. update windows and all components and many more attempts, many days of work and much disappointment. But the apps keep crashing, every time I try to import. I am at a loss, this is a new Surface Pro that I bought just for Affinity. The only thing I can think of is that this is a bug in the affinity software. Attached are the dmp files. Additionally a text file , listing the windows event viewer at the time of the error. I hope for quick help. 7. Hi, the problem still exists. Running the Microsoft .net repair tool did not solve the problem. Enclosed you will find the dmp.file. I hope that the problem can be solved. I can't import assests, colors and more. The app closes every time I try - with no further indication. 8. Any kind of importing causes the system to crash. No matter if assets, color palettes or brushes. Affinity designer simply closes without any message. Hardware system is a new Surface Pro 8 Tablet PC with the newest windows 11 and the newest Framework.
