JRizzle got a reaction from eeviac in FR: Edit "Folder" and ability to copy all edits in design persona
Feature Request 1: The ability to edit a folder.
I would like the feature to be able to open a folder of raw images and easily see all in an overview view. Clicking on one photo would open that photo in design persona and clicking left or right on the keyboard would save the develop persona of the current photo and switch to the next photo in the same design persona.
When working on a new photography project, this would allow users to complete more of their review + editing process in one swoop.

Feature Request 2: The ability to copy and paste all develop persona presets between raw images
For this feature request, when in the batch edit folder mode, if I were to "Copy Edits" from one raw (maybe a variation of a ⌘ + C command) I could page left or right to another photo and "Paste Edits" to the new photo.
This would save much time and ensure consistency between photos in projects.

JRizzle got a reaction from Old Bruce in Feature Request - Improved RAW Support in Affinity Photo
Hello - I would like to see the ability for Affinity Photo to sidecar the changes made to a raw file so that when tweaks are made, the user can return to develop persona and continue edits.

Currently, once you switch from develop to pixel persona, you loose the ability for any further modifications (very DESTRUCTIVE).

This feature would be huge for anyone editing raws, because there's always editing remourse after hitting "Develop" and the dread to reopen a blank raw file and start edits from scratch is a big time waster in a daily editing flow.

I'm aware of the presets, however you can't create one preset for each overall edit, presets are only savable per tab (e.g. Lens, General, etc), so you end with 4+ individual saved presets to accomplish ONE edit. Not a good solution at all.

Any implementation of this feature would be greatly appreciated.

This is basically the only thing holding me back from fully embracing Affinity 100%. Lightroom is absolutely CRITICAL to me for this feature alone.
And I don't just want/need an equivalent of Adobe Bridge and Photoshop. I need an Affinity Photo editor with a built in DAM. Affinity Aperture has a nice ring to it.

Hi Jonh, thank you very much for your help. That is what you will need, a file next to the Raw with the encoding of the settings in Raw to be able to resume them again with the Raw file. I have done several different tests, also revealing the Raw and going to "Person photo" saving the file instead of exporting. But later, when you open that .affinity file, the photo opens in "Persona photo". It is a pity that Affinity does not save an extended file with Raw encoding to resume work later and that the changes are not lost.
Even so I am very surprised with the capabilities of Affinity Photo, being able to edit the Raw in this application is great.
One last thing, to clarify the workflow with Raw. We could say that when developing the Raw and going to the editor of "Persona Photo" is a process of "no return", right?. If we wanted to edit that Raw file another time, we would have to start over at "Persona Develope", right?
I apologize for the length of the text and for my way of expressing myself in English
    Thank you very much again.
