I use an iMac (2019) for my correspondence, internet and private purposes. Here I have installed Affinity Photo and Publisher. I use in parallel an older MacPro with lots of storage and RAM, 2 Eizo displays and a Wacom tablet for image editing. Till now I had Adobe CS6 installed there and used Affinity only for small works. CS6 is history and I now want to install Affinity on the MacPro as well. Both computers are networked but only used by me personally. 1) Do I need a new license for the second computer? (I would have no problem with this, just want to know) 2) Which older mac OS is usable with the current Affinity without restrictions? The MacPro is currently running 10.10.5 (Yosemite) or 10.12.6 (Sierra). 64 Bit is definitely excluded... Thanks, Bernd (DE or EN)

Richtig. Nein. Wenn ich das .psd aus dem geteilten Ordner öffne, taucht das Problem beim Überschreiben des daraus gesicherten .afphoto auf (jedoch nicht beim Überschreiben eines exportierten .psd). Öffne ich das psd. aus einem lokalen Ordner, gibt es auch keine Probleme beim Überschreiben des daraus gesicherten .afphoto Das ist das verrückte daran.

Richtig. So sehe ich das auch. Der Rechner, auf dem die .psd ursprünglich liegen (und dort nicht auf MacHD, sondern auf einer anderen internen Speicher-HD), war zum Zeitpunkt der ersten Versuche eingeschaltet und im Netzwerk verbunden. Deshalb habe ich es eben nochmal versucht während nur dieser Rechner eingeschaltet ist - mit dem selben Ergebnis.

Ich habe noch nie bewusst eine .psd Datei mit Schreibschutz versehen. Und ich gehe davon aus, dass ein Schreibschutz, falls vorhanden, auch das Überschreiben in Photoshop verhindern würde. Danke! I have never deliberately write-protected a .psd file. And I assume that write-protection, if present, would also prevent overwriting in Photoshop. Thank you!

Online at Serif. I did that, but it did not solve the problem. In any case, data sharing is enabled: "Under smb://192.xxx.y.zzz, users of other computers can access shared folders on this computer and administrators can access all volumes." Users: "My Name -> Read, Write" I work in a user-only account with all my computers for security. The admin account is reserved for system interventions. But the data release also is granted to the user account.

Da scheint der Hund trotzdem begraben zu liegen. Nicht wie vermutet erst beim Speichern, sondern schon beim Öffnen! Wenn ich die Photshop-Datei nicht direkt vom geteilten Ordner öffne, sondern sie zuerst in einen neu angelegten Ordner ziehe und dann von dort aus öffne, habe ich das Problem mit dem mehrfachen Speichern als .afphoto nicht. Danke für Euere Geduld! That seems to be the crux of the matter nevertheless. Not, as suspected, when saving, but already when opening! If I don't open the Photshop file directly from the shared folder, but first drag it into a newly created folder and then open it from there, I don't have the problem with saving multiple times as .afphoto. Ich bekomme die Fehlermeldung egal in welchem Ordner ich das Ergebnis speichere. I get the error message no matter in which folder I save the result. Zugriffsrechte (Schreib- und Leserechte) haben alle meine Rechner - ein iMac, ein MacPro und ein Macbook. All my computers have access rights (read and write) - an iMac, a MacPro and a Macbook.

1) Ich ziehe die .psd Datei mit mehreren Ebenen mit der linken Maustaste auf den AFPhoto Button im Dock. 2) Das Bild öffnet in AFPhoto. 3) Ich bearbeite das Bild. 4) Ich speichere das Bild über “speichern unter“ als .afphoto im Zielordner. 5) Ich bearbeite das Bild weiter. 6) Ich versuche zu speichern: 6a) Ich drücke “command+s“ –> ich erhalte eine Fehlermeldung, das Bild wird nicht gesichert. 6b) Ich wähle Datei/speichern unter/Zielordner –> ich erhalte eine Dialogbox –> “...möchtest Du das Objekt ersetzen?“ –> ich klicke “ersetzen“ –> ich erhalte eine Fehlermeldung, das Bild wird nicht gesichert. 1) I drag the .psd file with several layers with the left mouse button onto the AFPhoto button in the dock. 2) The picture opens in AFPhoto. 3) I edit the picture. 4) I save the picture via "save as" as .afphoto in the destination folder. 5) I edit the picture further. 6) I try to save: 6a) I press "command+s" -> I get an error message, the picture is not saved. 6b) I choose file/save as/destination folder -> I get a dialogue box -> "...do you want to replace the object?" -> I click "replace" -> I get an error message, the image is not saved.

Richtig. Kein Häkchen bei “geschützt“ (s. u.) Ja, das kann ich. Der Workaround funktioniert. Das funktioniert auch, ist aber in meinen Arbeitsabläufen nicht praktikabel. Danke!
