Hi Walt The filter is the first (and only) action, one step back is the original image. Seems like the filter acts differently than other adjustments hence the bug report... all adjustments should behave the same - my 2 cents. Thanks for the help.

I set a lighting filter and clicked apply. When I select the position in history with lighting, the selection is not available i.e. the applied filter became permanent.

I agree there needs to be at least an option to bring it functionally closer, adding a "Auto Clean" (like Auto Load) seems like a simple addition to Photo and a step in the right direction.

@firstdefence - I just noticed I have it set for new layer, changed to same layer and it works - sorry about that. Thanks again for the help.

Hi @MEB and @firstdefence I'm on MacOS Monterey Apple silicon; purchased Photo direct, downloaded the plugin direct. I added the directory for the plugin to the search folders and turned on "unknown plugins" and I know get a similar response as @firstdef. Unfortunately it doesn't apply the effect. Any other suggestions I should look at? Thanks for the help.

Just tried this with Photo 1.10.5 and Protraiture 3, it didn't work. I have the directories as indicated but nothing under Filters > Plugins

MacOS Monterey on Mac Silicone using smart mouse.

I created a simple macro to create 2 overlay layers 50% grey; when I click on the macro it doesn't always execute, I usually have to click it a several times and sometimes it'll execute several times. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.
