Yeah its something, its a lot of steps. Being able to select the specific text frames, and directly pop it into my content checker would be 10 times faster. Its not a big deal, just a nice to have.

There is a lot of editing, checking, copy and pasting between programs. My text frames are numerous per page, each containing a sentence or paragraph of text, laid out in specialized fashion. It would be very useful to be able to select all elements across multiple pages and just "copy text" so I can paste them into notepad or MS Word or other programs.

I think it was because Index Entry text style had a "no change" font, I explicitly picked one and I think it is fixed now

Suddenly after clicking "update index" the program decided to use "Table Contents Label" for each index entry, even though the first (Ability Checks) does not use that formatting. So I have no idea how it came up with that Character Style for each index entry. Can I force each index entry to a style of my choosing.

I have lots of snippets, single words, that I want to apply a particular text style to. Is there a faster way that using the drop down from the context toolbar? Perhaps a key stroke combination that applies the last selected text style? Or a way to brush a style over and over without having to reselect it?

It would be incredible if I had an option to turn my page numbers into automatic internal pdf links that jump to the target page number. Obviously I could do that manually, but the entire point of "next frame page number" is it automatically updates when you insert a page.

No this resolved itself. I think it was a misleading error message, and might well have been complaining about the size of my PDF which after reducing, the problem went away.

Exporting to PDF (Print) which does embed fonts. This publisher file/book always used to work with lulu. Fonts Manager says "ok" for all the fonts. I have added some over time, I tried removing the ones I added since it worked, no difference. But lulu now errors with We were unable to embed the fonts in your PDF. Tried upgrading to 1.10.6

I am careful nowadays with the resolution of images I insert into my book. But I have a lot and some I did months ago, it would be nice to be able to click on an image and view information about - size of the image in bytes - width/height of original image in pixels

I'm going to buy Nitro since I've used it before, but I would have preferred to buy it from affinity.

Despite having spell check turned on it seems to refuse to check my typing/spell. Won't even squiggly the words. When I manually go to "Check Spelling" it takes me to a word I have already learned/ignored and won't find next or leave that one. Obviously this is stressful, I don't want to have to copy/paste every page into another program to check spelling.

Yeah that fixes it, thanks. So bizarre, show I know nothing of what a jpeg is composed of, never knew it was broken up into "layers" that can be selected/deselected.

sure, see attached. all my other jpg have been fine.

I don't understand how it is possible that I have one particular jpg which I can open in paint, windows photos just fine, but when I open it in affinity photo - it just shows me a blank canvas as if the whole thing was transparent. If i open it in MS paint I can save it as png and open it ok in Affinity photo when it is a png.

Note that if I create a new project, its fine. So there is something in the settings from my Lulu template I imported that makes it sticky to 1, 1.5 of line height even if I try to apply a specific point size for the line.

It seems that when I change the Paragraph Spacing Leading value, it can only be 1 line or 1.5 lines regardless of changing it to 120% in height. As soon as I change it to 1 line or 100% boom the lines change and squish together. I just cant get a happy medium half way between 1 and 1.5 times line height regardless of which options I try to pick

I had the same problem with just regular tables created within the tool, it would be incredibly hard to get back into the table edit the text. I would forge forward banging on letters while trying to highlight the table. As mentioned above. 1) Select table 2) Click the frame text tool (T)
