  1. Update! I clicked "Reset Default User Defaults" in Preferences > Miscellaneous and now the issue completely corrected itself. So, if anyone else has this issue, they should try this. Not sure what happened in the first place, but now it's all good 😊
  2. @thomaso This is awesome! Just did this and it's crazy how many populate in the results. Thank you for this.
  3. @Gabe Oh my! Obviously, I didn't spot that either. Awesome catch. Thank you. Do you know if there'd be a reason it only do this in certain areas of the document? If there's a way to correct this in one shot, I would be eternally grateful.
  4. Set up another user on my computer. Started up AP and opened the file. Same result. I took a screenshot of what pops up when I open the doc. Should I check/uncheck/change anything here?
  5. @Alfred Thank you. I'll try this. At first, I thought a different user in AP. Hence my confusion.
  6. Do I need to validate the fonts? I don't appear to have duplicates, but will click the resolve option to see if it helps.
  7. @thomaso I'll go check the font library now. How would I log in as a new or different user?
  8. Thank you for this information. I may have to try this at a different time as it sounds pretty extensive. For now, I'll just pause on using the software. I have a lot going on and will just utilize other means until I can sort this out. Thank you for all your help.
  9. @Alfred Downloaded the most recent version (although it was already running on that version) and am still experiencing the same issue.
  10. @thomaso I searched how to do it with Mac and did the boot with shift moments ago. Opened the doc, still the same. Then, I tried both the options you listed for APub and I'm still seeing the same results. I'm at a loss. Is there a way to uninstall and reinstall the software without repurchase? I have my product key info.
  11. @thomaso Do you know how to do this? I don't have the issue in any other program on my Mac.
  12. @Alfred I appreciate the suggestion. I know the fonts aren't much different, but all my previous publications are in the font and I like the look of it. As wonderful as AP was when I started using it, if I can't learn what the issue is, I'll just cut my losses and not use the software. Was just hoping there was someone who had experienced the same issue and knew how to correct it.
  13. @Gabe So you don't see this on the PDF either? This is within the first 3 pages of the first chapter. If it's a setting I need to adjust, that's great. Otherwise, I'll just forfeit using the software, which is frustrating.
  14. @GabeThought both went through. Just sent the PDF. Sorry. The strange thing, if it's the font, is I had no problems with 3 other projects that used the exact same font. I'm not sure if something changed 🤷🏻‍♀️
  15. @Gabe I uploaded both an .afpub and PDF of another project I'm working on reformatting. This one actually messed up the first line letters in the chapters as well as sporadic punctuation. Note, most of the punctuation errors happen at the end of the paragraphs and not necessarily in the middle.
