  1. Hi, apologies if this is the wrong forum, I saw there is a tutorial category but it seems it's more for posting guides than to ask questions. Is there a way to create a continuous glowing effect being emitted from the surface, like shown below with multiple fading layers? I am trying to make the effect have the same volume throughout the front and back without it being visible that they are just multiple flat layers. I can imagine creating the circle as a 3D cylindrical object in another program and then using that as a layer mask but is there a more efficient method? Thank you
  2. Heya, how did you get to creating custom macros in Options+? Or is Logitech Options yet another app? I have an MX Master 3S and it requires Options+ to customise commands, but it only offers premade ones that don't match, and it apparently has no support for custom macros.
  3. I meant nothing ill by it and I agree with you, my only fault is that I'm somewhat pessimistic because of past experiences (though since they are unrelated to Serif they are pretty ungrounded). It was more of a small thought of worry rather than a remark if that makes sense.
  4. Thank you, this works for me too, though I really hope they don't forget about this issue because of this.
  5. Hello, it has been over a month now and the issue persists. Would you be able to say if there is any progress please?
  6. Apologies for the late reply. I meant to describe that I own the collective DAUB W&W brush pack, but specifically the Bristles category causes the crash: Simply by clicking the underlined folder, the app shuts down
  7. Hi, I am having a bit of trouble wrapping my head around how this magically starts happening, because I have not changed anything in my device recently, only when I installed AP 2. The official DAUB W&W Bristles pack sold on your store causes the program to instantly crash whenever I open the subfolder. Affinity Photo 1 did not have this issue. It happens on all files I've tried to use the brushes on. I've removed and re-imported the brush pack but that did not fix anything. Device and Affinity Photo 2 info: AP 2 version: 2.0.0.1640 Hardware Acceleration is turned on. (And turning it off makes it impossible to work with at decent file sizes). Windows 10 Home 21H2 Huion Inspiroy Q11K v2 graphics tablet (not sure if relevant but it's the main external device I use). I've added what I understood to be the crash files, please let me know if you need anything else. Thank you. attachment_Log.txt d7953454-ff0f-45bd-97aa-591343955311.dmp
  8. Hi, I bought one of the official brush packs some time ago and on AP 1 it worked completely fine, but on AP 2 it's impossible to open without the app instantly crashing. I've not been able to isolate anything that can cause it, it happens regardless of what document I am working on. I've also tried to add the same brush pack by importing it again, but this does not resolve the issue. (Product name is DAUB@ W&W (specifically the Bristles subcategory)). (Desktop specs: 7 3700X, 3080 10GB, 32GB 3000MHz, running OS and app on M.2 SSD) I've added some crash reports, please let me know if you need anything else, I'd greatly appreciate some insight on why this is happening, I really need those brushes. PS: Is it at all related that WindowsApps folder and my local user folder has lost its data after the new install? 9. Heya, My apologies, didn't realise that staff follow the threads. I will continue to update the previous one in that case.
  10. 90387c9a-c7e3-4619-a54e-4457a44e6346.dmp This is the only crash file in the directory and it is the one from using official Affinity Photo, seemingly the Beta has not left a crash report here
  11. Hi, sorry about the new post, I felt that my old submission may have washed away. Please refer to this link for more details. Like the title says, there is no obvious cause for the crashes that I can spot; it just *snap* and happens. I have been using the Beta version as suggested - and yes, all other mentioned issues currently seem non existent - and I don't know where the directory for the crash files is like for the official release of AP, so currently I can't provide them. I would appreciate some support, thanks.
  12. Hello, Thank you very much for this, and I apologise for getting back to you this late. The Beta doesn't appear to have the same issues (any of them) as the current 1.10 version. Is it stable enough to be used in replacement of the current, official version? If not then do you guys have a rough time estimate for when this will become official? Either way, thank you. Really not sure what was happening with AP, seeing that the issue showed out out of thin air but at least it doesn't exist in the Beta.
  13. Hello, thank you for your response. I've uploaded the crash report here, unfortunately I only have one in the directory you specified. Nvidia Drivers: 427.12 release date 09/20/2021 Performance: Turning hardware acc. off made things worse Usage: The performance is only hindered with the graphics tablet Tablet Input Method setting: "High Precision" Third Party Software: Yep, the link you've provided refers to the list of programs. Sorry, I should've listed it initially. None of the programmes listed are running or even installed on the system. Windows Ink: Ink is disabled on both Huion and Windows, enabling it doesn't change anything unfortunately. 90387c9a-c7e3-4619-a54e-4457a44e6346.dmp
