ok... after playing about with this and finding the preset options; I found when using EPS (for export) option seemed to produce the goods

To whom ever can help / answer 😉 a newbie user... I've tried various methods to export and import an EPS into Houdini from Affinity photo (after having converted the text layer to curves as per the documentation I've read so far) I've tried first using Inkscape (as this is what I was using originally before purchasing Affinity photo) and it works... and I know it works correctly via photoshop / illustrator (which I do not have access to currently but have used in the past) However I'm having no luck getting this to work via affinity.. it just seems to produce garbage when imported into Houdini. Any pointers or suggestions would be appreciated. I've included some screen grabs if it helps. regards; bottyburp
