  1. I really, really hope that the AP for iPad will be workable in my iPad Air 3. If not, 😢😥😭
  2. Now it's nearly a week into the month of September. I hope they will release the AP for iPad very soon due to this weeks Apple Event. Hope they will not delay the release of AP for the iPad until Apples release of the new iPadOS (that is rumoured to be delayed some weeks or more).
  3. It does not say »summer» anymore. Now it's only saying »Affinity Publisher for iPad — coming soon!»
  4. I bet that the Affinity Publisher for iPad will be realised during the WWDC22. 🤓 That should be just in time for the summer. 😎
  5. Hmm, I think I still would prefer three different applications that could work with each other through the Persona Switching.
  6. Thanks for the information! I have now downloaded iFont and will give it a try.
  7. Hopefully the iPad version of Publisher will still work on non M1 iPad Air.
  8. @walt.farrell I asked the people at the Affinity Customer Service about a week before I ordered a copy of the Affinity Publisher Workbook at Black Friday sale, and they gave me the following answer to my question »How often are the Workbooks updated?»: »To date we have not yet updated any of the books other than a few grammar or formatting errors when the books required a reprint to restock.»
  9. Hopefully they will provide you with a proper way to upload the file to the support team. Maybe you could try to send an e-mail to “affinity@serif.com” or »AffinitySupport@serif.com»? I have also some problems with Affinity Publisher crashing while trying to save a file. I had the file saved/located in the Affinity Publisher folder in the iCloud, but after I moved the file to my internal HD on my MBP, I haven't had any crashes so far while saving the work. I would prefer to have all my work stored at iCloud, but if it's crashing …? Edit: Changed back to the iCloud location. Even if I saved the file on my internal HD, the file was eventually located to the iCloud due to the Optimized Storage option.
  10. Would be great to be able to both import from and export to IDML.
  11. I tried the workaround mentioned above, but, unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Got the same icon as before, i.e. The Affinity Photo icon on the Affinity Designer folder.
  12. This has been a problem at least for the last one and a half year. It should have been fixed by now. It’s not rocket science or brain surgery. It think it is quite annoying that the icons are not the correct ones. I can live with it, but I expect it to be solved. It has to be ”fixable” somehow.
  13. Got the same problem with the downloaded templates, both the Cookbook and the Magazine templates. They are nowhere to be found on my Mac. I can only see them as shown in the attached screenshot. Skärmdump 2021-02-05 kl. 12.07.51.pdf
  14. Same here. Still the Affinity Photo icon on both folders.
  15. Hi @JMS Nope, no solution yet. I hoped it would have been fixed with the Affinity 1.8 update, but it didn't.
  16. I should go for the iPad Air (3rd generation). Works like a charm together with Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer.
