Vielen Dank! Ich hab so sehr im Netz gesucht, dass ich garnicht an die Help seite von Affinity selbst gedacht habe. Allerdings muss ich sagen, geht Alt+Command ( Control auf Windows, das verwende ich) nicht. Aber das mit dem Shift-Enter für den Zeilensprung ist weiterhin nicht intuitiv mMn. Denke aber man kann da die Shortcuts nicht ändern oder?

Hi, (deutsch unten) How to do the em dash space and em squad space (half squared and quarter squared?) in Affinity Publisher. The keyboard shortcut from Indesign doesn't work, I can only use Shift+Alt+Arrow key. But this is not a permanent solution. I find it more and more difficult to switch from Indesign to Affinity Publisher. Simply because a lot of things don't work the way you want them to. Like above with the space or also with the Shift+Enter so that one jumps only one line. Can someone help me with the space and give me a tip on how to use em dash space and em squad space? Deutsch Wie macht man in Affinity Publisher den halben Leerzeichen und den viertel leerzeichen (halb-geviert und viertel-geviert). Die Tastenkombination aus Indesign funktioniert nicht, ich kann nur Shidt+Alt+Pfeiltaste verwenden. Aber das ist keine dauerlösung. Der Umstieg von Indesign auf Affinity Publisher fällt mir immer mehr schwer. Einfach weil vieles nicht so funktioniert wie man es sich wünscht. Wie oben mit den leerzeichen oder auch mit dem Shift+Enter damit man nur eine Zeile springt. Kann mir jemand mit dem Leerzeichen helfen und einen Tipp geben, wie ich ein halbgeviertes oder viertelgeviertes Leerzeichen verwende? regards, Spaceshark_Olaf

Hi, i turned this of as I thought this would solve my issue. I made the rectangles with "edit in plane"/ In Projektionsebne bearbeiten and merged them together. Hi, I already used the search engine. Hallo, kann man in Affinity Publisher die Aufzählungszeichen in der Mitte vom Rahmentext platzieren und nicht am Anfang des Rahmens?

Ah sure, sry totally misunderstood. sry that I am always answering late. This is the original Jpeg. It is a form by samsung, so I am not sure if it was a damaged file or my Computer is just unable to show it. the thumbnail looks always normal, but after opening the file, it turns black.

Hi, i noticed some kind of new problem with Affinity Photo. I am not sure if it is really software related. I tried to open some JPGs I exported from Affinity photo before and noticed that they turn black or are shown with very low saturation. I checked other pictures i did not edited with Affinity photo, and they seem to be normal. Is there something I did wrong with exportation options? Or is that another Problem?

So this is a recording with the Plancard Brush set. Here you can see the lag. I noticed something different with another brush, not sure if there is a connection, like my system? In the second video I use the Ink Brush. And as you can see it is very pixelated and not as smooth as in Photoshop. Plancard video.mp4 Ink.mp4

Hey, I just found out what the problem was. Quite simple lol. I turned off the fill *facepalm* I did not know that you can turn off the fill of letters. See below the screenshot. The Swatches history shows it.

That´s weird. Now it works again.... I Opened the document, and it works. I did not change anything lol? I meant I can type, the cursor moves, but no letters ( ic cannot see the text).

Hi, I have a weird problem. Could not find any solution with the search bar. I´ve been working on this large document since a while with around 60-70 pages. Images and text. Had no problems so far. A lot of text frames, worked all well. Today I put an Image wich maybe was a bit larger. It was linked to an Screenshot. After that, I could not type any text in frames. Even after going back in the history. I am able to type in a text in the other textframes I put in earlier, but no new text frame works. The artistic text tool still works. I tried to change the color, zoomed in, changed the size to 4000pt. Nothing seems to work. I closed the document and re-opened. Already deleted the linked screenshot. I can't find any solution. Do you have any other ideas I could try? I can't find anything in the preferences to solve this problem. kind regards, SpaceShark_Olaf

Indeed, it is just with quick and long strokes. Slow, detailed and short strokes are no problem. But sometimes i need to fill large areas, so i am working more fast on these areas.

Yes, that is what I meant. I do use a Graphics tablet, but the problem occurs with tablet and with mouse. Yesterday I contacted Frankentoons and the replied that it is not a common problem.

Thanks! this actually helped ( a little). It is not a perfect solution, as there is a little lag sometimes. But the more I increase the spacing the more fluent it becomes. But tbh this is not a perfect solution. The strokes look are changing. One of the Brushes totally loses its strokes looking. And it only works with smaller brush sizes. So if I use a standart copy sheet size, I must not use a bigger brush size than 80 px (depending on the brush) to avoid lags. But I guess for now this works out for me, untill I find another solution. Maybe I will check the beta. Normally, I am never using any beta of softwares or games lol. I am going to contact the Frankentoon team, totally forgot about that option. Yes, I already switched off the Hardware acceleration. I usually use affinity always without this setting. Thanks so far for your help !
