MacBook Pro Bigsur 11.5.2 Every time I open another layer with a different adjustment tool, Curves, HSL, Vibrance etc.... the previous entry box appears on screen for a split second, before being correctly replaced. Not the end of the world just slightly annoying.

Walt.Farrell Lovely clouds but I have plenty. (mainly in my head). I have looked as mentioned by MED above. and there were some brushes that were extra to my account now, and I was able to download those without any problems. My conclusion from that is I bought them else where..... Being old and decrepit I have lost all track of things before covid so My only chance lies with Julia04 who seems to have what I am after, but need a name to find. Thanks for giving the time to give advice. Terry

Unfortunately my iPad broke some 3-4 years ago, and I opened my new account June this year. You are right all the things I’ve bought since then are there for backup, but I’ve forgotten the old account details…. So that’s that, I suppose……

I used to have Epson iPrint software on PC, it was simple but quick. from the Epson website I downloaded and installed the latest drivers for my old but very good R3000 (pre AirPrint) But could not find Epson iPrint software for macOS. In Affinity photo I opened a file I’d been working on, went to print, picked the drivers I’d downloaded etc. And up popped some print software. this did all the usual stuff, showed a window with what it would print, auto portrait, in this case, choice of paper size (good selection) various default settings and customised settings, it’s very good really. But when I first make a print I like it with borders so I can look at it and see if others agree with crop saturation etc etc…. I’m sure I could set up a customised print size with this software but I’d prefer speed of use at that stage. Thanks Terry

So BigSur has no switch between graphic cards but you can switch off automatic... In Affinity Photo preferences>performance, you can see the two graphics cards to use metal accelerator... The Radeon 555X is supposed to be the faster. can I just switch it to that card or am I still depending on Auto. Does upping the use of RAM make any difference. Also I've downloaded the Epson Drivers for my printer but don't (can't get) the software. the inbuilt printer window that appears could be useful but its missing print with borders which I use a lot. Anybody know/recommend some good software.... Thanks Terry

Yes I messed around for a couple of hours and ended up labelling them separately as "Textures" my imagination, knows no bounds.....😀

I'll start by only putting those files I use often, which should keep it nice and low. Thanks for the warning much appreciated. Terry

Can I convert my Texture photos (which are .jpegs) and place them in Assets. This is a very good idea, I think......?
