Hi Guys I have switched back to development in LR 6 after installing iridient N transformer allowing me to convert Nikon Z7II NEF images to DNG format. In LR I can completely remove edge colourations prior to the conversion which is not possible still in AP 1.10.1 I start in LR convert and finish in Affinity Photo but would like to do everything in AP, especially when the new MAC M1X machines come out before the end of the year. Can the Lens corrections be improved (Nikon Z 24-200 Lens is all I on now. I can up load a RAW image for the developers need one just let me know and provide the upload link. To make this computer switch I need reliable lens corrections. If this is or could be worked on as a priority it would help with the large Prints I produce and assist with a new computer purchase later in the year. Thanks,

Hi I am running on MAC OS 10.12.6 Sierra and when I try to import ABR brushes the AP version 1.10.1 quits. This also happens with The 1.10.251 Beta version Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks,

Hi Hanshab Procedural texture works in version 1.10 on my machine I am running MAC 10.12.6 OS and Affinity Photo language preference is set to default. It works fine.

Hi Notmyfault You're right but I thought it is difficult to clone curved items but if you could follow the items curve while cloning you could generate new area, especially where you may have blown hi-lights. I don't have any examples to send you but I will look for one

Hi Guys again Would it be possible to use inpaint/clone tool on a path just like adding text to a path? If yes this would be awesome as we could then remove or add new stuff of irregular shaped objects much easier. Would it be possible to add this before the next commercial release. Hope so Thanks,

Hi Guys I would like to see better corrections for the above in the next release, closer in quality either Adobe Camera raw or lightroom classic as they eliminate all of it 99% of the time. This is especially critical since the develop module is destructive and burns what is not corrected into a developed image, which I assume is why James Ritson doesn't use the develop module much as indicated in his videos. Also the lack of the ability to synchronize files once you have completed one of a series, the aberrations cannot be removed when creating an HDR stack which renders HDR useless, for large prints as the aberrations are always visible. I have discussed this and sent sample images to Dan at tech support back in March but haven't seem any improvements in the latest Beta. It maybe because Adobe creates their own lens profiles but it sure would be nice to see this improved upon. My HDR work flow in LR is to process one image of an acquired of the series starting with corrections and "touchup" to remove distractions, then synch the other series images to process in HDR, using Photomatix pro 6. Both of these features would be fantastic if they could be accomplished in making images better and easier to produce whether in HDR OR NOT. Thanks and hope this could be done a.s.a.p. before the next release. Doug

Hi Andrew Thanks for your reply. It must be difficult to have all of the answers. I performed technical support for multiple medical Imaging companies and we always said "it's hard to deal with idiots (like customers, me included) because they are so creative". It had to be something weird because some people had the problem and some didn't. I am waiting to upgrade to a Mac Pro M1 or M2 next year so by then things should be much improved Thanks,

Hi Loukash It's funny I have a a 17" Macbook Pro as well and it has El Capitan on it but I never thought to try AP on it because it has limited ram. My desk top is a MAC Pro with 3.33 Mhz 6 core with 32 GB of RAM so I thought nything on this should outperform my Macbook Pro. Go figure this was not so Thanks again for the Temp fix.

Are you suggesting I downgrade my OS to 10.11 to get an app to work, especially when the app claims to work on all OS's up to the latest Big SUR on Apple M1 Chips. Most companies suggest running the latest OS not the other way around. Don't get me wrong there is a lot about AP I like but I have been waiting for over 1 months to try Dave Stacker's Luminuosity macros. As I suggested I would have paid more to get a fully functional affinity Photo. Based on the number of issues on the forum the 1.9 version was a rushed release. Oh well will stick with adobe for now since the CS6 version works fin on my OS and it is now 5 versions old.

Yes well there a number of people who have this problem. If you search Procedural texture in the activity forum you will see that a bug exists. Your response was of no assistance to those that have the problem, but thanks for responding

Procedural texture When can we expect this for those of us where this function is not working with extra controls I am using Photo MAC version 1.9.4.242 on OS 10.12.6 and still no fix for Procedural Texture extra controls (sliders) which disappeared with 1.9.0 upgrade. I have never seen a company take so long to fix a regression of a valuable tools such as this. I would pay more for the application if it meant you could hire more developers and fix bugs faster, so I could ultimately completely switch from LR and PS completely.

Hi MEB Thanks for responding. I am patiently waiting as I now prefer AP to LR and PS in terms of workflow and features. This problem is one of two deal breakers. The second issue I discussed with Dan (tech support) is the poor performance of chromatic aberration correction and fringing adjustments. I would like to see a major improvement in these as this is a basic adjustment that everyone talks about is easy to correct in post. Not so with AP. This is particularly evident when doing a new HDR merge as the develop module step occurs after the merge. The HDR merge exaggerates the problem guaranteeing the problem can't be fixed. There are a number of ways this can be addressed. I use adobe bridge as my image organizer and sometimes raw processor. If I could open these raw processed images directly into Photo persona I could completely eliminate the aberrations and colour fringing there and eliminate the the problem. You could also allow us to sync image processing across multiple images in develop module before launching HDR merge function. Lastly an overall improvement, which has been requested by others that would increase the strength of this correction. If you could also pass this on to the developers I would appreciate. Thanks,

HI Guys A number of users are patiently waiting to have the above item fixed in Version 1.9.4 or 1.9.3 a.s.a.p. While I did not use it in 1.8 I have watched all of Dave Straker's Macro videos and would like to try them, but can't because the feature is missing controls (previously reported Bug). Why when you do an upgrade would you disable a working feature that people want. I am not the only user patiently waiting for the developers to correct this situation and would appreciate getting some idea of when we can expect this to be fixed? My only other ask is an improvement in the chromatic aberration and fringing adjustments so they work more like the adobe ones as I do Large prints and this artifact is showing up wasting paper and ink. I have reverted back to LR and PS until I see an improvement despite wanting to use Affinity. Looking forward to these changes Thanks, Doug

Hi There I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet on my MAC Pro running 10.12.6 OS. I tried to rotate the canvas without success despite having checked the "enable canvas rotation with trackpad. Can anyone tell me how I can get this to work? I can zoom, pan and scroll vertically but not rotate. I don't mind upgrading to a new wacom tablet if I know which one will solve this problem.
