@Eowyn Cwper If you're using V2, theres a menu to the right of the layers panel and you want to untick auto scroll

thanks i didnt realise i had to do that because i was using gradients from the swatches panel and not the gradient tool itself

I've been playing around with the new spiral tool, which has been great except whenever I add a gradient to a spiral it doesn't follow the shape of the spiral. Instead it seems to be acting like the spiral is a circle and just doing the gradient from one side to the other, regardless of which gradient option i have selected: So is it possible to have the green start on the oustide and then transition to blue as the spiral moves inwards to the middle?

@v_kyr im using designer 2.1.1 on a microsoft surface pro 7 running window 10, and i already have hardware acceleration turned off

I have a quad warp applied to some text in affinity designer and at different zoom levels it cuts different parts of the text out. its fine at 77% zoom: but it starts messing with the text when you zoom closer than 88%: it cuts different parts out at different zoom levels. 135% zoom: Also, when i've exported it as either PNG or JPG it cuts out the text as well, regardless of how zoomed in you were: I've tried closing and reopening affinity, restarting my computer and tried working on new files just in case the problem was my original file somehow, but it still cuts out the text. If anyone has any solutions please let me know. thanks.

@Callum no i havent had the problem again

On all the affinity 2 apps when i have an svg placed and click replace document it opens up file explorer but when i try to click on a new svg it crashes. I tried the same thing using pngs and it worked fine, and on the v1 apps it was working with svgs. Does anyone know what the issue is or how to fix it?

Does anyone know where the setting for toggling auto-scroll to show selection in layers panel is in V2 of designer. It used to be in preferences > user interface, but I can't find it there. I looked through all the other settings and couldn't find it either.

@PelleNorden sorry i dont know what fixed it. it just stopped as randomly as it started and i havent had the same issue since

@Callum i cant do a screen recording because it was on my work pc, but it was a microsoft surface pro running windows 10. This was the first time its happened but i was able to save and then closed affinity photo and reopened it and at first it was fine but after like half an hour it started agin. Both times when it happened i was removing the background from two separate images so i was using the background eraser tool

I was working in affinity photo when all of a sudden clicking on anything outside of the window where the artboard is just doesn't work. So i cant save, click on any toolbars or menus, i cant change tools or switch personas, not even the close and minimise icons work. Keyboard shortcuts still work it seems and i can still make changes to the file i was working on but i cant click on literally anything else. I have no idea what happened, i didn't change any settings or anything, it just stopped working seemingly out of nowhere. Any help or advice would be appreciated. thanks.
