  1. Has this issue ever been solved? This is a basic, essential feature for graphic designers who need to see how a font will appear in a layout.
  2. Ahhh very cool trick! But how can I do this while text is selected without erasing the text I wonder. I need to be able to preview and cycle through different fonts without seeing all the extra lines/highlights.
  3. Actually I found a good response to this, but it apparently only applies to publisher. Why would Affinity Photo not have this basic feature...?
  4. Trying to figure out how to setup the spacing for Tabs, but the only option I can find is Tab Stops. There is no floating ruler, where I can adjust the tabs. If I input tabs into my text, the spacing shows up inconsistently between words... anyone figure out how to get beyond this? Edit: Apparently you can do this in Publisher with View > Show Text Ruler But this doesn't appear in the View menu in Affinity Photo.
  5. I am trying to select a image that has transparency on a layer, but can't figure out how to do it outside of the flood select tool. In PS, I can draw a rectangle around an image floating on a layer, then press Ctrl-Right arrow to nudge it one pixel right, the Ctrl-Left arrow to move it back into place, and the rectangle will disappear and leave me with only the non-transparent part of the image selected. Is there a way to do this in Affinity?
  6. In Photshop, when I select the on the page, I can press Ctrl-H to hide the selection so I can preview the font on the page without any other visual distractions. In Affinity, I can't find anywhere to hide the selection or the scaling controls. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!
  7. Is there a way to search for/browse/use Google fonts on demand in affinity without having to install them all? This would be a very useful feature for many web designers out there who don't want to waste time or take up system resources by installing Google fonts each time they need them.
