  1. It would be nice to be able to pin floating panels to always on top. That way when I move a floating panel to another monitor and click on something else on that monitor the panel won't disappear on me.
  2. Studio Presets do not control if the Left or Right studios are on display, they just control what Studio panels are in those respective studios Studio presets do not control if the Tools are displayed or hidden, they just control which tools are on display/available for a given Studio Preset. Thanks didn't know that.
  3. I am having a problem with Affinity Photo 2 studio presets not working. I have made a short video to show what I am doing and the problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Todd Problem With Studio Presets.mp4
  4. Hi, When I close out a newly created in Publisher V2 it is not asking me to save the document. I don't know if it is auto saving somewher or what. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Affinity 1.10.6 Win 11 Hi, I am unable to use the paintbrush to paint the layer mask in black or white. Nothing happens. As the screenshots show, mask layer is selected, blend mode is normal, protect alpha is unchecked. These were the things I found searching the forum concerning this issue. None have resolved the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. I have Windows 11. I was unable to find this update number Windows 11:KB5017264 What I did find was an update for 9/30/2022 (sorry didn't write the number down) It was a windows update and NOT a security update which I also found. I uninstalled the WINDOWS UPDATE and that fixed the problem with the FONT CRASH. Now to try and figure out how to keep my PC from trying to install that update again!
  7. I was using the right click menu. It must works the same as the view menu. So, thanks. Now I know!
  8. Hi, I have a photo in portrait orientation. I rotated it to landscape orientation. Then I exported as jpg. It exported in portrait orientation. How do I get it to export in landscape? Thanks.
  9. AF has been causing my computer to get the dreaded blue screen. It is freezing up. Right now I'm trying to open a photo and it is stuck on "loading document" with most of my CPU being used on this one application.. All this started with the last update. EDIT #2: Resolved. I found the answer here: Can you try clicking Edit>Preferences>Display and if OpenCL is enabled, try disabling that and restarting Affinity and then try using the app and see how it acts. HOWEVER, i did not find Display in the settings. I did find the OpenCL checkbox in the Performance settings and unchecked the box. AF is now working correctly. Question: What is OpenCL? EDIT: I uninstalled and reinstalled. I am still not able to load anything into it. Still stuck on "loading document". Windows 10 Device name Percision-5510 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6820HQ CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.70 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.9 GB usable) Device ID B1BD1F0E-4DBD-44A1-B36E-EF01894EBC69 Product ID 00342-50648-28401-AAOEM System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display I don't know what is going on. Thanks Todd
  10. I have a PDF with nothing but an image. I am unable to open the PDF in Photo, but I can open it in Designer. When open in Designer I exported the file as a PDF and Photo still will not open it. The offending file is attached. The original and the one exported in Designer with "3" added to the file name. Thanks Paul 2nd Journey3.pdf Paul 2nd Journey.pdf
