  1. here's an example where interpolation is without reasonable alternatives
  2. yes, it is a cool feature, but you will have to align a lot of points when it becomes more complex than this. Ideally interpolation would also be possible regarding the style (or some of it), e.g.
  3. I am using Inkscape for doing it, but it is "baked", you cannot modify the result interactively. There are also a few other basic functions like simplify that I miss in Affinity and that are present in Inkscape (which is open source and completely free but not on par in other essential fields like usability and performance though).
  4. whoa, great! I literally just upgraded from v1 and had not have the time to see everything. I was trying to right click on effects and layers but it wasn't in the context menu (which admittedly is already super long)
  5. Is there a way in Affinity create interpolations between 2 curves? Like the thinner curves in this example:
  6. I always wondered why it is not possible to copy layer effects (and paste them to other layers). As a workaround you can sometimes make a style template, but it seems overkill and is only possible if all other properties should be the same as well, so I am typically finding myself copying the settings manually. Or maybe I missed something and it is possible?
  7. It would be nice if loading a file could be cancelled. For example I just clicked on a 11GB file on a slow network ressource, and there is no way to interrupt it, trying to quit photo leads to a message: "At least one file is currently being opened. Please wait for files to load before quitting the application.". There could be an "x" in the "Loading 1 document"-status bar which interrupts the loading. Imagine you click on a 100GB file (these are satellite images).
