I went to Onedrive setting and made it so all my files are always on my computer. (Instead of it downloading files from Onedrive to save space.)

Ah, that was it! Thank you for helping. I never really understood what Onedrive did so I just ignored it but I looked into it now and yeah it works now.

I checked and I don't seem to have multiple versions installed. I am getting more the feeling that this is a windows problem, although I still don't get why this only happens with Affinity files.

Hello, sorry for replying to an old post, but I am having the same problem as you had a while ago. Could you tell me how I check if I also have multiple versions installed?

Actually I read it wrong, these are all too old to relate to the sudden crashes, and there are no newer reports. Also for the thumbnails, I have that options enabled yes. I also checked my windows options and those are also good, so I don't know what causes that problem.

Just a note: I have been able to save it a few times now too. I am not sure if it is just inconsistent or that the problem has fixed itself. (The thumbnail problem is still there, but that goes for all my Affinity documents.)

I am saving it just on my laptop, so locally.

I checked it and no, this seems to only happen to this specific document. Funny enough, I did notice that the new document I created and saved had a thumbnail, while all my other document do not have one. This is a different problem though. If you can send me that link I'll share the document.

The last week I have been experiencing the issue where Affinity Designer crashes after I save my document. When I try to open Designer again it just wont work and I have to restart my computer. No save data is lost however, so the crash really happens after the saving is done. Is this a known issue or something new? I would prefer to not share this document as it is part of a project of mine, but if it is needed to solve the problem then I can share it of course. (Windows)

So, I was drawing and then this happened: I saved, then I went to click on a different tool to switch, but the icon remained unchanged. The tool did change though, but it looked like I still had zoom selected. (The tool that was active when I saved.) This might have to do with saving or not, it just happened right after so that's why I mention it. This bug is visual only, the tools works fine.

Yes, but I should note that I did so by selecting the group and then scale with object, is this what causes the issue?

Hello, I was trying out some vector art for the first time, but there is one thing I just don't understand, and I can't find it on the internet either. I have this knight here that is made out of 6 layers. Two layers are the shape of the armour and the mane, and then 2 are a duplicate of them that are masked to another 2 layers that are the shading. (Or is it the other way around? This stuff isn't like paper and pencil...) Anyway, the problem is that when I try to scale it it doesn't really work well. Yes, scale with object is selected but still something is going wrong as you can see, could someone help me by explaining this?
