  1. I found the workaround is to customize the roller/touch bar in the tablet's app settings, with the shortcuts ctrl+ and ctrl- to get the zoom to work again. Works now like it did before.
  2. Hi. I'm on Windows 10, using XP-Pen's Artist 12 tablet, in Affinity Designer 2.4 The tablet's roller/touch bar "zoom" function is dead in the Designer persona, but works in Pixel persona. The other roller/touch bar functions work, like brush size and scroll. It's just zoom that doesn't work. The zoom function also works in Affinity Photo 2.4. The "zoom" function does not work in Affinity Publisher in "Publisher persona" but it does work in "designer persona" and "pixel persona." This used to work in previous versions of Affinity Designer. I have tried updating the tablet drivers and restarting.
  3. Affinity Publisher stops working when I try to save as a package. I go through the dialogs until the save location dialog is supposed to come up, but at that point the program loses function. The menus stop working and I'm forced to use Finder to force close. When I reopen the file it asks if I want to open the recovery file. This seems to have started with the update. Probably caused because I'm using El Capitan 10.11.6 Thanks for any help.
  4. Affinity lacks batch raw editing, but you can integrate open source options into your workflow, like RawTherapee. https://rawtherapee.com/ You don't need Adobe, you can build your own creative suite by using Affinity with RawTherapee and other open source programs.
  5. Without "balance ragged lines," it's not going to be very professional looking unless you add line breaks where needed. Definitely a necessary feature to contend with Adobe.
  6. I tried out both DarkTable and RawTherapee. RawTherapee seems better so far. It has more options than lightroom, which includes batch editing and processing. The only problem is learning where everything's at. https://rawtherapee.com/
  7. Oof, you're right! Sorry man. Have you tried https://www.darktable.org/?
  8. They don't need to add the feature because it's already covered through open source options. Try XnView MP. Use it with Affinity Photo like you would Bridge or Lightroom with Photoshop.
