The problem only arrises with connected table cells. Please handle this issue, I have to import and set more than 2000 table cells. I can not manually do that...

No, it seems more likly with bigger tables. However, I could not figure out a rule. Is there a schedule when this issue will get addressed ?

Importing tables from Excel sheets, I can not control the height of the table. With every change in the table the height increases. I added a demo excel file which shows the behaviour when placed in a publisher file. I need to place a lot of tables in my current job and it is very frustrating. demo.xlsx

I have exactly the same problem using the current release (1.8.4?) I used the place method to include a simple excel sheet. I am not abel to set the size of the table and I can not edit the cells. demo.xlsx
