Any updates?? I'm having the same issue on ipad

This makes the edges look better a lot better but its time consuming. Like what if I want to select a person or a more complicated image, why does AD and AP create this hazy edge?

Ok I understand OP just wanted to crop the image but can anyone answer on how to get clean edges from selection & refine? My edges look exactly like they do in OPs 2nd video they posted.

I meant I created a separate document, without the art board, with those dimensions and pasted the sticker there to see if it would do the same thing and it did. The document dimensions were incorrect and not the same size as the sticker even though the dimensions window says they are. The problem is the dimensions are off but in the dimensions section, the app is showing that the art board and the sticker are the same size when they are clearly not. I made a document using pixels instead of inches and that worked but there's still a bug that needs to be fixed.

Trying to create this very tiny sticker for a label. The sticker should be 0.7x0.1” tried creating an art board and separate document with those dimensions and as you can see they are clearly not the same but affinity is telling me they’re the same size. What’s the fix? IMG_0730.MOV

I'm having the same issue and it has not been fixed. I'm having to create the correct spelling by editing the nodes which then I can no longer edit the word as text after... very time consuming. This is frustrating and disappointing to see this thread has been going on for almost 3 years and still no fix.

But the first word of this is correct? Its the second word that for some reason changes the accent placement/spelling. I thought if it didnt support it, the letters would be empty boxes? Do you have any creative solutions to my problem? I would like to put this text on a path and edit when necessary but I can't do it if I convert it to curves and edit the nodes to make it correct meaning.

I am having issues with hindi font converting to a completely different spelling in AD on ipad and the desktop version. I've downloaded several unicode hindi fonts and its always the same story. When on desktop, even if I copy and paste the word from google translate, it turns into something completely different. I've added screen recordings below to show the issue. This needs to be in the vector persona for a logo that will be scaled to a variation of sizes. Reading some of these posts it sounds like others have used the vector brushes and then try to pop their project into AI and the brush strokes do not look the same as it did in Affinity Designer on the app. I guess I'm looking for something similar to the brush tool in AI to make something similar to what I've attached here. Would that be the pencil tool? Please let me know if I'm making any sense, I'm new to all of this.

It's my first time using AD and I've read in the forums that some vector brushes rasterize if they're exported to other programs like AI. I'm trying to create an illustration style logo with some cross hatching and I'm not sure if using vector brushes would be best way to achieve this? What vector brushes would be good for this considering this logo will be sent to a print shop where they most likely use AI? Or what other options would I have for a vectorized illustration in AD on ipad? Thank you in advance for your help and advice. -SM
