It would be nice if when importing or opening documents with missing embedded fonts if the font substitution suggestions at least try to make a guess based on font name...
For example, if a document has Helvetica embedded, suggest Helvetica LT or another font with "Helvetica" in the name instead of Arial.
Or if a document has FF DIN embedded, suggest D-DIN or PF DIN.
Or Museo Cyrillic 300 suggest Museo 300.
Or Times Roman to Times New Roman, etc.
I know it's impossible to make something like that really guess right all the time.
I won't gripe if it suggests "Good Times" for "Times Roman," but if it guesses right most, or even some of the time that would be awesome.
Better style guessing would be good, too. regular=>medium or 400 or even book; italic=>tilted, slanted, or oblique, etc.
I spend a lot of time changing drop-downs from "Arial" when importing documents.
