  1. Appreciate you've taken the time to look into it and to elaborate.
  2. Noticed same issue still in v 2.2. Scaling with Contour tool requires "bake appearance. Have not found a way to "scale with object" on this one, and keep it none destructive.
  3. Thanks. Uploaded. Extracted the part of the design that behaved strange. Might have found a workaround while waiting for the link, but still very strange. First try to group the three lower buttons. Then go outline cmd + y, select all layers except the big background square, then hit group. You'l probably see the lower buttons behave strange. Even stranger, when grouping same layers without outline mode (as there is a lot of overlapping layers in the actual design), it seems to work better. Either way, perhaps worth having a look at.
  4. Thanks for replying. If you have an upload link that works fine.
  5. Came across a strange symbol issue. When grouping 3 symbols with related design elements, the symbols stacks on top of each other. When moving entire group with the symbols, it move more then related elements. When doing cmd + z / cmd + shift + z, it creates bigger and bigger versions of the symbols until the application freezes. Tried emptying cache, restart, ram reset. Also deleted the symbol and created it all over. Same issue remains. Using latest MacOs and AD version 2.2. Symbols.mov
  6. Thanks for replying. See attached screen recording. Grid.mov
  7. Hi. Setting and activating standard grid in the window "modify grid". When going back to "modify grid" in changes to isometric every time.
  8. Thanks for getting back to me. Affinity Photo 2 2.2.0 with latest Ventura
  9. See attached. Not the actual designs, but extracted a bit of the files for the sake of Macro test, hope that will work. One originally AD and one AP. Now both saved as AP. Hope that helps. Thank you! Archive.zip
  10. Thank you for getting back to me. Yes, both landscape, same size and dpi. Can even click on the invincible layer and it shows the selection, but not the content. Also set to 100% opacity and placed on top of other layer. Hope that clarifies a bit.
  11. The strangest bug in Affinity Photo. Creating a macro for placing a file (watermark) works ok to set up and store. But when creating a file placement macro in a flattened photo document (AP), the same macro used on a vector image (AD) converted to png, does not show the design when opened in AP. And vice versa. Both files are same resolution and size. The placed file is there in layer panel, placed on top of all layers in 100% opacity. Anyone have any idea what is going on?
  12. Looks like resetting the shortcut settings with "clear all shortcuts" in preferences, worked for the back space delete issue in 2.2.
  13. Had issues as well with shortcuts in general (in addition to the one mentioned in this thread with grid) after updating to 2.2. One of them being deleting graphics with back space on Mac. It helped with resetting shortcuts in Affinity settings for back space. But did not solve the grid shortcut issue. Hope this helps.
  14. Still not working with the standard shortcut to show grid with cmd + ' (left side of keyboard)Only showing grid with cmd + ¨ (right side of keyboard). This issue occurred after 2.0 update I believe. And still after 2.2 update, no improvement. Since last time have also reset shortcut settings, and manually inserted desired shortcut in: Settings / view / show grid. This specific shortcut is not affected for some strange reason. Even though other shortcuts are. Also tried 2 different language settings in system settings on Mac. So sending a reminder, hopefully will be fixed soon.
  15. Hi. Looks like it is not selecting accurate in a vector shape in Pixel Persona. Issues occurs on circle and square. Example is not that much zoomed in actually. Familiar with potential workarounds for selections in general, but this post is more about how to select more accurate from the beginning on the entire object. Or if this is a bug, or "that's just how it is"? Selection being used is "cmd + click on layer" in Pixel Persona. This was selected in order to use pixel brush within the object. Also familiar that it is possible to add pixel brush within the layer and without selection to limit background spread of the brush, but this may create other issues not going all into in this post. But in short, may create issues when exporting (a placed file) with transparent background having pixel brush outside the object, even if not visible.
  16. Thanks for taking the time Walt. Unfortunately seems like not possible to edit hardness in Brush Panel either for customised brushes. See attached. Can see it's dimmed out, same as in menu bar. But from what you wrote, looks like just have to wait for an update on this one.
  17. Hi Not sure if missing something here... Custom brushes in Affinity Photo in general seems to not allow a setting of 100% hardness, even though the original design does not have any reduced opacity. Improves with Wet Edges turned off, but still locked at 80% hardness. Not just this brush, but occurs in general on customised brushes. Attaching files, example and setting info. Not sure if a bug, "by design" which does not make much sense, or if I missed something. Feel free to share if I did. Perhaps something to improve in the coming update Brush.afdesign
  18. Still not sure what you're trying to achieve here v_kyr, other than repeating your issue that forums have duplicate posts. Which I agree, the forum team could have a look at this. But let's hope the browser suggestion will pass on to the dev team. Maybe instead of sending lots of messages here because you're frustrated about duplicate posts, feel free to send inquiry to dev team instead about your frustration, as I can not help you much with this. This is already posted.
  19. Vkyr, you're right...in theory. Unfortunately can't read all related previous posts in this forum everytime posting simple feedbacks. But you can simply choose to ignore duplicates, or if you're from dev, look into solving this duplicate forum issue if it's a general problem. I see the issue, and think it would benefit users and Affintiy by making a cleaner forum design. Admit it can seem a bit messy in here sometimes. But your comment now does not solve anything, and not sure what you want to achieve. You're admin askin to delete this post, or user complaining about "100s of related posts"? If you are right about 100s related posts, and still no file browser, then perhaps those posts did not do the job, or maybe Affinity just needed the 101st reminder to make it happen☺️
  20. Hi Affinity people, could you please consider creating a nice file browser for Affinity, similar to Bridge. Looks like you're pretty close to having one in the startup window, where you have Recent, Templates etc. I'd love to delete my Bridge app soon:) Some of the nice features here are recorded batches for multiple files, view and add metadata, variations of views and thumbnail sizes etc.
  21. Hi Lee. Already place it inside the layer below. Still thought worth mentioning. Might also be other things as well not following isometric behaviour. Thanks for the feedback though!
  22. Looks like the endings in stroke does not apply to isometric settings, also when having "edit in plane" on. Workaround would be to mask it, but thought to let you know at Affinity dev.
  23. When zooming in bit extra to select a layer, having multiple layers on top of each other, not fully aligned. Stops being able to select any layer around 8000%. Normally not a big thing, but sometimes can come in handy and enhance workflow with multiple layers intertwining. Hope this made more sense. Pls let me know if further elaboration is needed.
